I voted for physical transformation!
Me too.
Honestly, I don't understand how he could have a costume, and still look like this. You can't have someone wear a mask and have that smile; a mask won't form to your face like that. I really don't see a problem with having him physically transform.

That's an idea i had for Spider-man 3 actually. Instead of Harry putting on that terrible costume, he would have taken too much of the goblin formula and actually become a "goblin"
This, and he falls asleep and when he wakes he forgets all about being the Goblin and looks completely normal. It brings more gravatas to his situation and parallels Dr. Jackle Mr. Hyde more.

No physical transformation, we don't need him confused for the Hulk

Once again, someone assumes that just because it's a physical transformation that automatically means "Hulk-Goblin".

We already have a villain that undergoes a physical transformation in this film. Give us something else for GG.

With the Lizard hulking out, I don't see it far-fetched heading in that direction if they mutated the Goblin

No mutation, NO NO NO NO NO NO....
NO

Would like to see Goblin suit up, wouldn't mind if it's a physical transformation though. Especially if they mix the both. Physically transforming in a Goblin like creature, but still suiting up and using gear.

Considering they're using Lizard in this movie and everyone's seen Hulk, I don't think we need that trick done again.

It would still be different if he uses gadgets and a glider. He also wouldn't be a 7-9ft creature, smashing or slashing stuff.

That Goblin just looks silly to me. He looks like Smeagle.

That Venom though...looks creepy.

Yeah, that isn't a good Goblin. That Venom reminds me of something like a Cenobite from the Hellraiser films, maybe Chatterer. Carnage looks cool though.

No matter what gadget he'd use, we simply don't need another man that turns into something green IMO

And I sure hope Sony thinks the same... :(

I think if they present it that way then it could work. That means we don't need to see Norman take the serum and turn evil and go bananas on his lab assistant. We don't need to see him hearing voices in his head. We don't need to see him putting on his mask. Yeah everyone pretty much knows but I don't want them to do the same formula over and over again. I want Norman this time to sort of be separate identities like it was in the comics for a while...I even think so in the cartoon...until his big, grand reveal at the end.

Although...as someone mentioned...I wonder what it would be like if it turned out to be Harry while we all thought it was Norman. I wonder if that would work...like SSM.

I would like GG to be developed over two movies. I would like to see Norman in ASM2 more so and then he becomes GG at the end and ASM3 is all about GG. I would like him to be the big finale baddie. I really don't want to see Doc Ock this soon...he was just so friggin amazing in SM2 that I don't want him redone this soon.

I agree with everything you said there! Even about Doc Ock, even though I've said that I'd have nothing against having him again. But I've changed my mind about that. Would love to see someone never used before take that spot in ASM2, such as Mysterio or Kraven.

seriously i go with the mask, the last trilogy got flack for every villain being a tragic mentor to peter, this one doesn't need to have every villain physically change into a giant green brute

also if a small fx company can produce something like this

i dont see why sony can't use this as a base and build on it

:wow: That mask looks sick. This could definitely be used for the GG!

^Agreed. But why would he make a mask of a goblin? I think what ThePowerCosmic and Nathan said makes the most sense. Just have him have a bit of both suit up but have a physical transformation to his face/body but nothing drastic.

Why is spider-man's suit red and blue? There really doesn't need to be a reason why he dresses like a goblin. Maybe to scare people or something but its not like it is a major problem with using a mask rather than physical transformation.

I can suspend my disbelief for some things but that's just a little to Scooby Doo for me.

(take off mask)
Spider-Man: Old man Osborn!

Osborn: Yeah I did it and I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you kids with your webs...

No thanks.

Well I don't think it would make much sense to have a guy use a serum and turn all green in a sequel to a movie where a guy uses a serum and turns all green

I think its the multi-quote button thing next to the quote button. I'm not sure because I have never done it
