If Loki dies, he will come back. That is his thing.

I think he came back as a child and a Hot Lady. I maybe wrong though. If Loki dies, he will come back. That is his thing.
The first time he was using Sif's body. The second time he simply comes back as a younger, much more innocent version of himself. Funny enough, both times Thor brought him back.I think he came back as a child and a Hot Lady. I maybe wrong though.

I've never seen it mentioned again but it's hard to tell for me in that trailer where Jane is floating if it looks like Loki's eyes are bleeding like someone speculated or if he has a Dark Elf mask on. I actually thought that what if Loki died and Thanos had something to do with his resurrection again in the future. I know it's redundant, but seriously, there is going to be some of that in comic book movies. It just depends how it would be dished out and not be an eye roller and a "oh here we go again" moment.
Indeed, I see her going up against Maelkith in the trailer as a good sign as having something to do but also as a bad sign....
Pretty sure it's Malekith. That's not Malekith that Frigga is fighting. It's Algrim.
And yeah, safest money is on Frigga being Most Likely To Die in this movie. Unconfirmed rumors tend to point in this direction already anyway, so....not looking good for Mama Asgard.
I'd also bet on Jane getting fridged, which would likely satisfy Natalie Portman and the majority of fandom.
Loki is possible, if he's on a redemptive martyr arc, but I don't see that happening --- just something that the fangirls want to see. Marvel can still get a lot of mileage out of Hiddleston, and I'm sure they realize that.

You really think Portman would let Jane be killed for no reason but to further Thor's story? Why are you attributing imaginary motives to her? Has she told you she wants to move on?
Also, majority of fandom? The majority of fandom wants to lose one of its biggest box office stars? No, the majority of fandom want Jane explored more as a character.

Nope. She always despised him in different measures. At best she is suspicious of him, at worst the only thing that stand between her and his demise is wrath of Thor. She even wanted to end him while he was a child...just Asking ...Do sif ever fall for loki does she has hots for him ever in comics back then ?
"...I picked Greenwich. And I'll tell you why: I knew our final act was going to be total chaotic battle and so I loved the idea of picking a really formal setting to stage chaos. There are no and angles in that place. We got to go into the Painted Hall and explode it...”

Another interesting tidbit in that Empire article is this from Alan Taylor:
I knew that the UK scenes were sort of going to bookend the story, but I'd just assumed that it would be a post-battle, conclusion scene. Looks like the final battle is there, and it's a doozy!
As for the current discussion, I can't even begin to assume who the second death might be. Darcy?![]()
Ooooooh nooooooo!!!! Not Darcy!!!! If we have to lose one of Jane's Geek Squad, I vote the new guy. Oh, no, do you think it might be Eric?
You know, I hadn't thought about Eric, but he's just as likely as anyone else. He's sort of in a weird state after having been brainwashed by Loki, and I don't think there are any Selvig fans out there who will get upset. I know that loses something if character deaths are supposed to mean something to the audience, though.
#SelvigLives
Well, from what I've read on here it seems like we're all assuming Mama Frigga is one of the deaths. I really feel like the other death could be anyone.
Maybe it IS Loki, but he doesn't die. Thor could behead him and carry his head around for fun! Road trip!
I say Loki dies in T:TDW and comes back as Eva Green - cleavage and all - in Thor 3. Why should the fangirls have all the fun?![]()
