A little late on that one bud
Don't see how we'd any odin action, seeing how he's missing and all. Lol
I wonder how they'll handle the budget/vfx on this. With hulk included i cant help but to think they'll get ilm to do tht portion of the film.

When was it posted?
I hope Marvel doesn't lose sight of this being a Thor movie about Ragnarok, which is "the end of all things". I worry slightly Hulk will take away from this.
Its the same interview that was posted a few days back.
Yeah some people confuse a character with the actor. My dislike of the character of Jane has nothing to do with Portman, I love Natalie Portman as an actress.
My dislike stems more from the writing, and while Portman and Hemsworth have good chemistry, I feel like the love story between them was too rushed...Thor and Jane go from attraction to love too quickly. I mean Thor get's banished, spends a few days on earth... and this guy whose been around for hundreds of years, was worshiped in mythology as a God, and has probably romanced hundreds of women...suddenly get's his head turned by some human woman to the extent that he becomes a big sofie?
All over the course of a few days?
I don't buy it...I mean I enjoyed the film (both films) for the most part, but Thor and Jane just moved too quickly for me. I would have preferred it if they'd kept the attraction between them as just attraction with the potential for something more, and slowly morphed it into love over the course of a few films.
I mean Thor could have gotten humbled by just making friends with Jane and company, it didn't have to be some epic 'love story' that turned him humble.
And Jane is just not given enough to do, she's a rather one dimensional scientist in a whole universe full of scientists. What about her makes her stand out other then being Thor's love interest? We really don't know much about her. I hate comparisons but in my mind I can't help but think about Tony and Pepper whose love story felt much more real and believable then Thor and Jane's. And as a whole Pepper just felt like much more of a real (and likable) character then Jane.
Again this is all just my opinion, I enjoy the Thor films for the most part, but I'm sort of 'meh' with Jane, but not to the extent that she ruins the films. I just wish she could have been handled better as Portman is a great actress who can bring so much more to a character if given great material to work with.
Unless he really is dead. Perhaps Loki's big plan involves releasing a force (Surter) to "kill Odin" and then have Loki come in to save the day and become king. He whisks Thor and Hulk away so they can't interfere. Things of course get out of hand, and the heroes make it back from their alien world seemingly in time to save Asgard, but it's ultimatly too late. While Surter is defeated, Asgard is in shambles, forcing Thor to stay as King, keeping him away from the Avengers until Infinity War Part 2.I assume the Odin MIA story line will be resolved in this film in time for Odin to lend a hand in saving Asgard...

I can not imagine any film maker would kill off such a major character [and actor] off camera - some good story ideas - guess we will know in two short years...

Visions role with the stone likely won't play a part till the infinity war imo.
Well I guess he doesn't have to... If Ragnarok ties into Infinity Gauntlet he should be with the mind stone. Also, maybe he goes with Hulk... I just can't imagine he'll stay Earthbound after Civil War. Seems likely that he ends up involved with Ragnarok.
I don't know, the vibe I got in TDW was that he only showed respect for Odin and spared him during the original film because of Frigga. With her dead, I don't see anything stopping him from finally disposing of his hated stepfather.
