Footage from Thor Ragnarok shown at Comic - Con has leaked. The quality is very poor.
It's the footage that a lot of people and news outlets described of Thor captured being presented to The Grandmaster and the him being in the holding cell with Korg. The trailer has also extended bits of footage.

I gotta say... i loved it. Hilarious. Typical Taika Waititi humor and the several character interactions we're just gold. The standouts we're definitely Thor with his reactions, Jeff Goldblum aka The Grandmaster was awesome, so funny... and Topaz dry responses made me remember HFTWP. Great stuff all around. Oh and Taika as Korg is so awesome.

If Marvel is smart then they'll make use of that footage in the marketing leading up to the movie. Since it's out they should release it in it's HD glory. No need to show other new stuff when they have already a leaked poor quality version of some scenes floating around. Use it to their advantage as a marketing tool.

I am guessing it's indeed going to be used in marketing anyway. The footage shown at last year's Comic-Con ended up available to the public in the form of Trailers... These scenes will most likely have a similar future. I can easily see some of them being featured in the 3rd and final Trailer which should be dropping in around 10 days. And also TV Spots...

Thor Ragnarok trailers have been following pretty much exactly the same dates as the trailer marketing for Doctor Strange.

Yeah, the Con guys have already had an exclusive period. A month or so after might as well release it to everyone in good quality.

Their hand may be forced, but then we haven't received a trailer since the IW leaks at SDCC, so they will likely stick to whatever the plan was, whether it included releasing this or not. I doubt it.

Point is, they shouldn't let leaks dictate their campaign strategy. I can see them ending these exclusives in the future, it's not worth the headaches. Just release the trailers in final form and be done with it.

That's part of the attraction, but if these things are going to get leaked unfinished, then is it ultimately worth it to Marvel? I could see them going more corporate in the future and protecting their intellectual property until they want the masses to see it. On their terms. That would be unfortunate for the hardcore fans who line up for days at these conventions, but that's where these leaks are coming from, the fans. Fandom potentially eating it's own tail.

I feel Marvel is a the point where they really don't have to release footage. Especially if people plan to leak it. I am already invested in the movies and plan to watch them. They just need to release 1-2 trailers with a few tv spots. The whole exclusive footage is not needed. Just have panels or make people check their phones in like I believe they make people do at D23.

I have no intention of watching crappy quality leaked footage, I'd much rather just wait until we can see these scenes in the quality that's intended. It sounds great though, incredibly positive reaction on reddit. t:

While watching leaked clips detracts a little from experiencing them first in the cinema, I always get a kick out of the audience reactions at cons.
I could not resist it, now I'm even more hyped.

Hulk #300. Awesome issue with a whole mess of heroes going up against Jade Jaws, but in the end it comes down to Thor being the only one that can match him. Strange intervenes to save both of their lives since it was inevitable either one was going to end of killing the other. Strange banishes Hulk to the interdimensional Crossroads and thus began one of the best arcs in Hulk comics.

Well you might be able to pay a professional for Hypnosis and have them make you forget that Hulk is in the film. Then you could go and see it with your friends or family and be like I did not even know he was going to be in the film. Lol

Yeah, definitely own that Comic and I forgot Spidey was in his Symbiote costume. I am bad with chronology, but judging by him wearing the symbiote costume I am guessing it took place not to long after Secret Wars. I think I am going to need to go back and reread that issue.

Well if he was put under for 25 Years I would imagine he would not even need to forget about the Hulk / Thor Battle in Ragnarok, because by that time at 3 movies a year he would have 75 other Marvel movies with great moments that he is needing to catch up on that I would hardly think knowing about the 1 moment would even matter anymore. I just hope I get to see the Fantastic Four return to Marvel. I need to see Galactus and Doom done justice and causing devastation on a level similar to what I hope we will get with Thanos. Plus while I love the Infinity Gauntlet Story, I am still partial to Secret Wars which is my all time favorite story, but to me you need Galactus and Doom to tell that story correctly. As well as Molecule Man for that matter.
