Q: Could you guys each pick a character that you personally feel the most excited about revealing his or her character development to us in the film?
A: I'm gonna pick Thor. Because Thor... we're picking up his story from the end of Ragnarok and at the end of that film, as any fan would know, his home planet Asgard is destroyed and so the character is in new territory, so to speak, as his past has been torn away from him to a degree. I think that was very similar to Captain America's situation when we picked up his story in The Winter Soldier. Cap was in a place where we were very much catching him up in the modern world and seeing what that meant to him, and figuring out how you move a character that far forward and that far away from where they started. I think with Thor we have similar opportunities with that character in this movie as he's gone through a radical transformation and he's moving forward in a way where he can never go back, and that's always a fun place to be with a character as a storyteller.
(Joe's pick was Thanos)

I saw some images from Thor Ragnarok floating around Twitter yesterday, which made me remember how visually striking this movie really is. It's undoubtably one of the, if not the most beautiful and visually stunning MCU movie to date. So many beautiful, amazing and cool shots. I can't wait to put my hands on HD stills of the movie and compile them all in order to just fully appreciate the beauty that is this thing.
Apparently the release of the movie in Blu-ray is scheduled to March 6th.

"Ive just, literally two days ago, finished Avengers 4 and thats my contract -- my preexisting contract is done now, so its kind of like, 'wow, thats it,'" Hemsworth reflected. "Two or three films ago I was like, 'okay, a couple more.' I was enjoying it but I was like... I felt a little restricted. And after this last experience with Taika, and actually these last two Avengers, I feel like weve reinvented the character a number of times -- even in these next two, he evolves again, and you dont get that opportunity often in a franchise. So I definitely feel a renewed sense of excitement and enthusiasm, and more so than ever, I think."
With Infinity War scheduled for May 4, 2018 and Avengers 4 slated for release a year later, Hemsworth pointed out that "right now, its about Avengers and its about that storyline and those characters. Thats the focus, in all honesty; I havent had conversations about anything else beyond that."
But that doesn't mean he hasn't thought about Thor's MCU future beyond the final act of Phase 3. "If I had the opportunity to do it again, I think Id love to," he told IGN. "I also think theres an appetite for it now, or theres a far greater range of possibilities of where he can go now, what he can do, just because weve kind of broken the mold a bit."
Chris Hemsworth to IGN.
Chris Hemsworth and also Taika Waititi are on board for a return. Let's get the gang back together for Thor 4.
