A few more observations about the Trailer.

- I really like the improvements made on Hulk's axe and hammer. Black lines and designs.
- I wonder if that red "black hole" leads into Muspelheim or something like that.
- The CGI on gladiator Hulk and "The Commodore" looks very sharp.
- When Hela says "Oh i've miss this" when she's walking around dead asgardian warriors. Skurge doesn't seem pleased.
- The Thor/Hulk fight that was shown is just a little glimpse in the beginning of the hole fight. We know that Thor also uses lightning against Hulk.
- Hela looks very sexy... and her moment with the Valkyries is the stuff of legend.
- I don't see Hogun making it out of there. Hela complete decimates hundreds of asgardian warriors.
- In the shot with Hela and Skurge in the Bifrost you see that Heimdall's sword is still connected there.
- When Thor and Banner fail on their fist bump. Valkyrie is right behind them.
- Valkyrie lands The Commodore in the rainbow bridge. She also fights Hela.
- When Thor and Loki fire guns you can see a purple statue of a young Grandmaster dressed as a gladiator.
- Fenris Wolf has green eyes and he fight Hulk in the water next to the rainbow bridge.
- Korg is fighting agains dead asgardians in what looks like Sakaar. Loki is near.
- Banner is cheering from inside The Commodore.
- Heimdall and other asgardian warriors are protecting civilians.
- Thor with Gungnir fights Hela inside the palace.
- Thor and Loki are trying to escape in some sort of teleportation thing but Hela knocks Loki out of course.
- Thor seems to be unconscious in the throne room with Hela gracing him by the neck on the ground.
- Thor goes beast mode on the rainbow bridge and physically he looks much bigger.

Two things I've noticed.

When Hulk first leaps at Thor after Thor told banner they fought, Thor has two swords when he blocks Hulk's attacks. Then when Hulk spins around and swats him, he has that mace type weapon from before. So clearly those are from two very different parts of the fight.

Another thing, once Thor goes flying from Hulk's hit the wall behind him has a red zig zag marking. Where as inthe shot of him actually crashing into the wall, the wall has a teal colored marking. So the shot of Thor flying and crashing into the wall are actually from two different points of the fight as well.


Can someone provide screen grabs to help me better explain this?

The IW footage leaked, for those of you unaware. I suppose it does spoil the end of this film a bit, perhaps.

Nothing too major but it does throw the perceived timeline of events into question.

Namely, we've seen the behind-the-scenes photos and action figure showing Thor with long hair, mjolnir, and something that looks like Surtur's head on his back (possibly even a statue or totem?)

Many (including me) assumed this must come late in the film AFTER all the Sakaar stuff, yet Thor still has his short hair and gladiator costume in the Infinity War trailer, with no Mjolnir in sight from what I can see.

In these two shots you can tell Hela's head peace can "emote" to fit her mood or for what she sees fit at the time.


Here her head piece is pointed upwards and the spikes are closer together.

Compared to this shot where her head piece is more wide and the spikes are spailed out.

I have been thinking about how epically insane Thor looks in that shoot. I wonder if he has the Thor force at that point maybe inherited from Odin or he is getting into the warrior madness transe... Rune King Thor is the pinnacle of what he could achieve that would be maybe overkill. t:

Two things I've noticed.

Yeah and I think his trajectory is noticeably headed to the floor in the shot of him flying. Good ole trailer editing, making two unrelated things look like part of the same thing. Guess Thor will be getting wrecked for the majority of the fight. He gets tossed at least twice.

I didn't take it that way, I took it as where going to get a proper fleshed out fight this time around. In any extended fight between two super strong characters there should be quite a bit of flying into things.

SEEING Fenris and Surtur, THEN Hulk actually talking! Even tho it's even more simpler than the Savage Hulk days, HE TALKS!!!!!!!

INDEED, that would mean Odin has PASSED tho. I was torn with that always, I was kind of hoping Odin would have passed Like he did in the comics as a MISSILE destroying Surtur as a last heroic feat

He's frightening fast with those weapons. Like imagine the typical heavy greatsword warrior class except they're effortlessly dual wielding the slowest but most damaging weapons in the game and swinging them as fast and precisely as the glass cannon rogue class.

We have only had hints like when he goes to the Frost Giants home in Thor 1 and brief flash back clips in that and Thor 2. He can sacrifice against Surtur or try to defend Asgard once Thor's group and Hela show up. Seems like Heimdall brings them back and Hela hitches a ride.

I've been thinking the same thing, especially seeing the impact Thor created when he crashed into that wall (which is AWESOME). That HAS to be dangerous for the spectactors, they may have some type of invisible "barrier" to protect the audience.

Yeah I'm ready to see MCU Odin finally do some epic Sky Father level stuff, other than yelling at Thor.I hope he atleasts gets off of his butt and fights when Surtur shows up. THREE Thor films without at atleast one proper fight scene from Odin would be such a waste of a bad*ss powerhouse.

That would be a PERFECT way for Odin to go out, I really like the missile idea you rbought up from the comics as well.
