The Amazing Spider-Man Toddler Boy Being Cast for Spider-Man 4?

Blonde hair genes mixed with red hair genes could easily produce red heads.

SpoilerTV has posted an interesting casting call for Spider-Man 4.
According to the site, the production is looking for a "2 or 3 year old boy to play 2 year old, Caucasian with RED HAIR, an adorable toddler with an engaging personality, on set experience preferred. IDENTICAL TWINS ONLY."

We don't want to jump to any conclusions, but the "Red Hair" mentioned is certainly interesting. Stay tuned for whether this will be significant at all.

The fourth installment is targeted for a May 5, 2011 release.

Okay, I take back what I said about Carnage.

I was thinking people thought they were just showing him as a kid as a cameo or setting him for Spider-Man 9.
IF they were using Carnage, I could see this casting choice for a kid being flashbacks of his screwy childhood.

You guys are grasping at straws if you think Raimi would willingly use Carnage. LOL!

If a kid is being cast, I'd say it's Curt Conners kid, Billy. Hair style/colour is not something they follow religiously in these movies. Norman and Harry were supposed have red washboard hairstyles, Ock was supposed to have a bowlcut etc. And they're major characters, not a minor character like Billy Connors.

I disagree. It would be more "logic" to think SpiderBaby than Carnage (even if you try flashbacks). The again both ideas sound very farfetched (though one more than the other). I'll say just wait and see.

Just because he said he hated the symbiotes, doesn't mean he wouldn't include them in a story. The red headed kid could very well be Cletus Kasady in a flashback of some sort.

I am extremely doubtful Peter and MJ will have a kid, and also doubtful they will get married.
After what happened in the comics. I think the mind set they have is that the movies are going to bring in more readers.
So... just after divorcing Pete and MJ in the comics, I think they will try to keep Peter single for now.
