Heh, nice. I hope she out-Owens Owen at doctor stuff and then Owen dies and she replaces him.

That would be beyond awesome.

That is, until her character is assassinated by RTD's need to make Torchwood "more adult." She'd immediately start raping people with alien tech, sleeping around with every other alien on Earth, and flippantly switch between heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, and pansexual.

And that would be the day I'd finally join Lord Valumart's "We Hate Martha" club.

can we tone the testosterone down!

Oh, Also...

is it just me or is Torchwood woefully understaffed? I mean, the old incarnation had a huge building, hundreds of technicians, and a legion of soldiers. The current regime has five people! Sometimes with ALL of them out in the field if they suddenly died, whoops that's it, no more torchwood. Seems to me like they need to expand their staff a bit more.

I mean, every alien hunting squad I've ever seen always has more than a handful of people. Like the men in black, they're covered. There's hundreds of them around the globe. Torchwood...well, they're just five blokes in a suv.

Is "blokes" a term you can use to refer to a collection of both men and women?

Anyway, just imagine how understaffed the English branch of Torchwood is. That woman posing as a reporter from "The Sound of Drums" is the only one we've seen since "Doomsday." Even Ianto used to work at the Canary Wharf office until the Cybermen/Dalek invasion. While Torchwood used to be this big, secret organization, I think it's now reduced to only a few surviving operatives, and no one with the authority or resources to mass-recruit new members.

If I was paying attention, it seemed like the episode "Meat" not only gave us a pro-vegetarian message, but a pro-assisted suicide message too.

And now Tosh likes Owen? And Jack seems jealous of Gwen's fiance? This kind of silly soap-opera crap is the reason why I stopped watching Deep Space Nine back in the day.

In all fairness, they established Tosh's crush on Owen during the first season/series. Remember the episode where Tosh was bumping uglies with the alien played by the daughter from My Family? Tosh said at the beginning of the episode that the last person she kissed was Owen at the Christmas party, and there were a ton of pictures of the two hanging out all over Tosh's home. Then 'Hot Lesbian Alien from My Family' confronted Tosh about the pictures, and thought they were already involved.

Not true Freema Ageyman had it written into her contract that she would not have a sex scene, she did a RT interview and admitted it saying she didn't want to ruin her DW career.

I love you even more now, Freema!

One day, she shall be mine. I just have to drop a few stones, move to the UK, get connections in the entertainment industry...

I must admit, it is quite annoying how each member of the team wants to bump uglies with every other member of the team. Torchwood would actually be quite enjoyable if they just toned down that. I am not against an office romance, but when everyone wants to sleep with everyone...it's just dumb.

Sounds like Freema saw the first season of Torchwood. :)

Good point - I forgot about that.

Still, one more reason Owen must die ASAP.

Jack has a hard enough time getting the current team to do what he says let alone an entirely larger group.

I was under the impression that Torchwood was still government funded and had tons of doe and that Jack had been at this for a long time. Long enough to restaff anyway. Maybe if he stopped hitting on everybody he'd have enough time to rebuild the Torchwood army. Cause having your entire operation in the field is just dumb. They could have really used a SWAT team or a task force for that last episode. Where is all the Torchwood funding going? Condoms?

HIRE MORE PEOPLE! This would make it more realistic in my eyes anyway.

Absolutely not! She is mine! :cmad::bh:

I will come for you! Ninja Style and slay you in the night if you even think about touching her...:brucebat:

Owen's being killed! they're finally doing it, there is a god and RTD has finally done something good, oh and this means we get a new character too.

Major spoiler ^ I know you guys will love.
