Good god, that scene where the prime minister and his group debated about which children were okay to get rid of was disgusting. Through a good portion of the episode, I'm like...

I bet the Dastardly Americans were spending that entire time trying to figure out how to launch nukes into space. Who cares if they can't find anything to hit? Put 'em in orbit until they blow something up!

It was horrifying and not surprising all at the same time....all it takes is one person to open that door and suddenly everyone is jumping on the "lets just sacrifice the poor and stupid" train

I sincerely hope they continue to make more Torchwood, it's always been quality television.

May parts throughout CoE were difficult and uncomfortable, but I believe that was done so intentionally. The final episode was particularly gut-wrenching with Jack. I would hate if that was the last we see of him.

I've never watched Torchwood before and I'm only a casual fan of Doctor Who - if I watch "Children of Earth", will I be able to understand it?

WHAT THE HELL!!!

I finally watched the whole thing last night and I was shocked. I didn't know that it was the end of the 3rd series. I thought it was just a miniseries and that the regular show would be back later this year.

That ending was amazing. Torchwood is easily one of the best shows on TV. I hope they come back for a 4th season.

It's a British TV show. I'm surprised the prior two series were longer than a few episodes.

I think you will understand it but I doubt the ending will hit you as hard as it would if you had watched the whole series and got to know the characters like somone who watched the show on a regular basis.

I'd say the hardest hitting part of the ending came from what happened to a character we were only introduced to in Children of Earth.
