Why would anyone go into a movie like Tron Legacy blazed if they were really looking forward to it? Enjoying it in a blazed state is artificial happiness. Now if it was some movie that you were going to see that you weren't looking forward to at all then I could understand one being in a blazed mode to counter the unappealing movie.

Anywho,I was hoping for a higher opening day,box office numbers wise.

From a guy who never seen Tron and really had no intrested in the franchise at all, I thought this was pretty good flick.

Cast was perfect and I really dug the character, Quorra. Fight scenes were neat, and I actually cared for these character, which I rarely do when watching films. The music was another great add to the flick aswell, really set the mood.

CGI Bridges freaked me out when he was in the real world at the beginning. I didn't think the CGI was anything to write home about, but because they were in a computerized world, I wasn't too bothered by it. Also, the 3D sucked.

so... what the hell happened at the end?
why did Quorra need Flynn's disk to get out? if she needed it, then why was CLU at any risk of getting out, if he didn't have it? and if he didn't need it, why not just head straight for the portal? and what the hell did Papa Flynn do to him, and the Grid?

other than that, LOVED the movie. I gave it a 9. easily one of the (if not THE) most visually amazing movie I've ever seen, and easily the best soundtrack I've ever heard.

I havae a question, I was thinking about getting the Deluxe Clu figure however what I am wondering is what color is Clu's suit in the movie? I have seen pictures of it being yellow while other pics make it seem orange. Since the figure is more orange in color I just wanted to know if it was movie accurate.

It's actually a yellow-orange, not soley orange. The other baddies are orange

Is an updated version of this track from the original in it?

I don't think so, at least not from what I remember, but Daft Punk did the soundtrack and could have incorporated some elements. The main song from the original is used because I remember hearing it the original.....at least I believe.

Daft Punk is in the film. That's dope!

I can't get over her,she was unbelievably awesome and really really really really really effing hot. As characters,Sam and Kevin come off as pretty plain compared to her.

Loved the Black Hole poster.

I hope Disney's remake/reboot of that turns out just as good.

All the ladies in this film are HOT! Quorra and the chick white.....No words.

Glad to see some blacks and asians in the Tron world.

Spoiler Question: Please don't read if you haven't seen the film.
Can someone explain to me the ISO's existence again, or at least tell me if I am right in their origin. Were they beings that came to life out of a "big bang" evolution similar to what some say is the creation of human beings but in the digital world or digital dimension of TRON, or were they created from parts of code that formed together with parts of organic material from Sam's creation of the Grid? In other words were they there before Sam, CLU, and Tron got there, existing in an already created micro-digital universe before the construction of the Grid or did they come about as a product of the three programming the world?

Also, was I alone in hoping that Trong would come back and whoop CLU's ass?! Hopefully, that sets up for sequel.

Flynn's disk is the only means of leaving the grid. CLU was at risk of leaving because he had the disk. I believe Papa Flynn derezzed CLU and reset the grid

Do you think its possible that Sam downloaded Kevin's Disk at the end as well & that we may actually see Kevin again in The Grid ?

That's exactly what he did. As well as embraced his destiny to carry on his Father's Legacy by running ENCOM with Alan.

The ISO's are free will programs who emerge on The Grid (around before CLU turn against Kevin) in a way the us humans did and something about them that could've unlock potential in science since according to Kevin they being perfect (the film never really delve into exactly what though).

Get Kevin back into The Grid then get Kevin out of The Grid & then Sam takes over

Kevin is dead. Although the way I see why he let himself stay behind and to take care of CLU and sacrificing himself was a way to redeem his mistake of creating CLU.

Do you think TRON is dead?

Also, I think spoiler:
the grid is still active and is what is on his necklace along with his father's disk.

Nope, he's definitely alive since his condition went back into a free program. My speculation is that since The Grid was on a private server on Legacy that Sam downloaded a backup of The Grid so he could work on it.

What do you mean by this?

Yeah, I understand that they are free will programs with some human DNA-esque code that links us to the programs/beings of the TRON/Grid world, but Kevin said that he brought CLU and TRon to this new place to construct the Grid. That would mean that he took TRon away from the original Grid that Tron was from and began constructing either on a different mainframe or on another part of the mainframe that had not been built upon yet and oblivious to Tron and his people (Movie 1 programs).

However, I'm still unsure if the ISO's were there before or after, and if they are random free will codes or program did they come into existence through natural evolution of wasted or random code. The more I think about it the more I am liking the movie. I hope they write a book that discusses the time between the films.

I rephrase wrong, I meant in a way us humans do. Since the The Grid was on a new server in Legacy he just brought all the programs and rebuilt the place there.

did they announce a sequel yet?
Nah it's too soon, Disney will be checking on how the film perform at the BO first.

Yea it's too soon but not out of the realm of possibility.

SPOILER>>
How they incorporated the 1982 movie into the film and the toys and merchandise as if the original film actually happened in the film world as it did in ours. That was interesting. I liked how they referenced that in that way rather just keep the worlds seperate.

I thought this was interesting and very meta too. I was hoping for some more elaboration on this. Like, what the hell? Did everyone become celebrities and decide to market the crap out of their strange story? Was TRON the movie in their world more successful than in ours? Did it differ? I was half expecting and hoping them to do some crazy Matrix **** on the audience, breaking the fourth wall and talking directly to us. Did I mention this felt like a ride? Maybe that's why.
