Hahahaha I don't know if this is a bad cover up or something but I think its funny if true. Where the hell are the people from Ubisoft anyways, are they from Europe or something because if not this doesn't make any sense.

They say the reason why the IGN site was taken down is because it was a September's fool. Equivilant to our April's Fool. They said they thought it would be funny to say that Assassin's Creed was coming to 360 and PC only to later say it was a joke and say its a PS3 exclusive still?

I don't know thats just what some guy said over at IGN. They wanted to get everyone excited and then say hey guess what its not coming to you? Kind of like Bungie with the whole Forruner April Fools.

Anyone buying this? It sounds odd.

A statement on the IGN.com forums explains that they updated the info and pics to the site but it is not ment to go live yet. They have a NDA to abide by. Once that time limit is up they are free to post the info and screens.

Ok, IGN.COM forums have posted up an announcement. The News and pics will go live Sept 1st (tomorrow morning) during the usual first daily site update.

An error was responcible for the page updating today and they removed all info from the servers until tomorrow's update.

IGN.com TXB and just about everybody else will have the new info and screens (Video too?) in a few short hours
