Makes sense. I doubt they broke up. The very last scene of TDW was a passionate kiss between the two. An offscreen, purposeless break up would be really bad storytelling, especially after everything that happened in the last two Thor movies.

According to the Junior Novel of AOU, Thor and Tony Stark argue over who's girlfriend is more important, Jane or Pepper..So yes they are still together as a couple...I am very glad...

Looks like the source of the tweets is suspect, so I will wait to hold judgement, some of the claims don't hold under the microscope..
We will know more by this weekend when more sources come forward...

I just remember a while back that either Whedon or Feige said that Avengers 2 was going to focus mostly on Thor. It was also one of the reasons why Hemsworth was second billed I read too.

Thor having more to do is quite different than saying AOU is "going to focus mostly on Thor." He didn't turn up until half way through the first movie so all he has to do is appear from the start to increase his screen time.
