I'm not really a fan of Anti-Hero Venom, so I don't want him teaming up with Spidey unless it's absoloutley necessary. I mean, I think Anti Hero Venom is cool, but not as cool as the cold blooded badass Venom he was in his first 4 appearances.

Ridiculous Carnage ideas...

1) Venom evolves into Carnage. Possibly when the symbiote seeks a different host.

2) Gwen becomes female Carnage giving her and Venom a Joker/Harley-esque relationship.

3)Carnage is a symbiote infected with Connors' Lizard formula.

#2 sort of happened already, and someone who actually reads Ultimate Spiderman may tell you better then me about it. Gwen Stacy became Carnage. SHIELD was doing some sort of experiment and when Carnage killed her in Ultimate it left some DNA on her corpse, so i have no F'n clue what SHIELD was doing maybe reanimating Gwen for some reason and when they did it brought back the Carnage mosnter from the series but yeah Gwen is/was Carnage in Ultimate Spidey. If someone knows what happened they can tell you, I just saw the issue when it came out last year I think. Someone should have their face caved in for that.

Cletus Cassidy should be the only Carnage or if they are going to change who becomes Carnage, they could at least use a male. Btw, I didn't like Peter Parker being Carnage either, it was kind of disappointing to find out that in the Ultimate Spider-Man video game.
