Venom Revamp

Well let's take a look at the various origins of the symbiote;

1) Secret War- This is overly complicated, to many superheros and simply wont work. I've never been a fan of this bland origin.

2) Spider-Man TAS 90- Good origin, perhaps one of my favorites, but as I mentioned already, it's been done, lets see something new.

3) Ultimate Spider-Man- I like this origin. But the writers said the symbiote will be alien, so scratch this off the list.

4) Spider-Man 3- I like this origin as well. Despite the meteorite landing right in the same area as Spider-Man.

5) ?

So, I wonder if we'll get something familiar or something entirely new. Only time will tell.

I am very curious about this. I mean, Ratcrawlers' idea is a very good one. However, What else is possible? We know it's from space and it's obviously an alien, but I doubt they are going to use anything that is going to be used. So yeah, I really think it might be something entirely new.

As long as they make sure that it's an alien symbiote, I'm fine with whatever new they've got.

What they did with the symbiote in the Ultimate Spider-Man universe was interesting but yes, they need to stay with the original origin of the symbiote.

Btw, does anyone know how many episodes Peter will get in the symbiote?

So, what does everyone think of the design of Venom for the Spectacular Spider-Man. Personally, I think it's awesome. Yeah, I find it to be exaggerated but that seems to fit in the rest of the show design.

The look of Eddie Brock/Venom in this series is pretty damn cool if you ask me. It definitely fits in with the rest, IMO.

I think the look of Eddie Brock/Venom is awesome, IMO! Venom looks like he's been updated very little, but still has ALOT of aspects from the comics, so that's a very good thing. Also, I love how muscular Brock looks in this show. That's another aspect they gave the character for this show.

Yeah, Venom needs to look ripped, that's how it's always been. I hope that this Venom is as much of a psycho as the version we got in TAS.

Btw, the baby teeth don't look too good but other than that everything else looks spectacular.

I'm looking forward to his voice, too.
the best one until now is the voice from the SM1 Game (PS).
let's see if they can make something good this time.

the sm1 game voice wasn't bad but it was missing the dual voice aspect. his voice in the ultimate spiderman video game was eh. Sounded like he snorting the whole time. His voice in marvel nemesis, that EA fighter they came out with was HORRENDOUS. SM3 was just topher's voice lowered. As far as the voice for the 90's animated series goes I dont think we will see a better depiction of the way Venom should sound. It sounded like Brock and the Symbiote were both talking at the same time. It was just deep enough and his yell / roar was defening and genuinely threatening. I also loved the deep growls the symbiote would make after he was done talking...perfection

The 1990's animated series had the best Venom voice, it was creepy and it had a certain duality to it.

didnt the eddie voice actor say in an interview not to long ago about how his venom voice is like.

Yea i knew he said something about two voices, so that should make people happy.

Good idea, but you'd think all the scientists who would have studied it, cut samples from the meteorite and researched it very closely before finally putting it up to display would have released the symbiote beforehand.

Maybe it kept its self hidden from them, because it was waiting for someone as powerful as Spidey.
