Veronica Mars

new show that just got picked up by the CW and its prodcued by the guy that created the oc...

think its based on a series of books or something

... and its being narrated by Kristin Bell... NICE!

It's really good tonight, I wish this show would have been saved.:csad:

wow, pretty bitter ending. Kristen Bell was great as usual.

Great episodes tonight, really showed how good the show was. Seeing Lily's portrait freaked me out.

Yeah i know thats the same thing i was thinking damn you CW and your crappy new drama like that one coming on next wednesday.

At least we have quality reality shows coming from the Cw like Farmer Wants a Wife, Crowned which is a show where mothers and daughters compete in a beauty pageant and of course Search For the Next Pussycat Doll 2 because we all know any good musical group needs at least 20-50 members in it. Yep lots of good quality shows to look forward to, I can see how Veronica wouldn't fit on this network.:whatever: :csad: :whatever: :csad:

Frakk this depresses me. I really loved this show (especially s1 & s2). Damnit. :(

The ending was Mehtastic, but at least it was an ending for the most part. I look at it this way, At least Ronnie and Piz are not only still together, it's forever now.

WOW! I can't believe its over... 'Rob Thomas is a Wh0RE!'

My thoughts on the finale...

First, it wasn't a series finale, but I wouldn't have it any other way... Rob Thomas said he wouldn't make a pseudo-series-finale that could be the end but could just be a season finale because he thought it would make it too easy for them to cancel the show...

Sure it didn't pay off, but cheers for having some balls and actually doing EVERYTHING to keep the show on the air, Rob! I know I appreciate it.

Even though this wasn't a real series finale, they gave us hints about where different characters will end up...

Veronica looked like she may very well get back with Logan (which I like the idea of, but am kinda glad I dont have to see). I love she got into the internship @ the FBI, and I love WAY WAY more that we got to see her as a real PI before the end of the series.

I like that Keith lost the election protecting his daughter. It really was a amazing way to show how bound these two characters are to one another, and the beautiful relationship they have.

Best part of the finale: 'Am I'm back in high school'. If only for one episode, the finale did a great job of returning Veronica to the alienated bitter outsider who took great joy in bringing down those would hurt her ('So you had a bad day'... amazing!)

I also thought it was bitter sweet that while Keith's dreams of returning to his position as sheriff were crushed, it was kinda cool that @ the end of the series, he's a PI again. That's how we've known and loved him.

One finale thought... My jaw dropped when VMars saw that painting of Lilly. It was so haunting, and an AMAZING touch to bring Jake Kane (and his boarding school indiscretions... wink) into this final episode.

Two great episodes. One great series. While I enjoyed Season 3, it never matched the glory of seasons 1 & 2, but I am happy that with this finale episode we got a reminder of what made this show so amazingly great.

Can't WAIT for Rob's next TV project. Let's hope for a Sorkin 'Sports Night'/'West Wing' scenario.

Kind of depressing as a series finale. As revenge for VM getting cancelled, I want to PERSONALLY behead every viewer of The Pussycat Dolls.
Anyway, Piz may have not been my favorite character, but he didnt deserve a beating like that. I'm glad Logan redeemed himself by beating the s*** out of that kid messing with Veronica, and he gave us a great line.

"Whoever you are, you're gonna die"
"Yeah, someday"

Why didn't I start watching this show earlier? :(

That's what I've been asking myself ever since I began watching the show in early January. :o I can't believe I missed the first half hour last night, but I felt like the ending was a nice good-bye to me ever bothering to sit myself down on Tuesdays and watch TV, ever again. None the less, everyone including Kristen, was great.

Jason Dohring actually surprised me last night: I've always liked Logan's character but I owe that to Jason's acting skill, and last night he made me appreciate the character more than usual. I loved his response to the guy he beat up:

"Whoever you are, you're gonna die."
"Yeah, someday."

Classic.

It'd be great but I don't want to get my hopes up.

Some of you are dumb. Veronica Mars was Cancelled because of the ridculously low ratings. Television is a business. Deal.

Do you know the ratigns comparison on that one? I'd be willing to bet that the next doll beat it.

Plus, It's cheaper.

well they forced the show to make changes, then they chose to air a reality show rather than repeats.

i realize the show had crap ratings... it was the right business move to cancel it... the show wouldn't have got 2 or even 3 seasons were it not for the exe who in the end canceled it, so this isnt the case of the big bad tv exe not understanding the merits of a show.

HAVING SAID THAT....

I can still be sad that a great show si gone, and especially a great scripted show in the era of '***** cat dolls' and the like.

there wont be a vmars movie. the almost for sure wont be a vmars fbi show, although there at least a tiny chance of that.

we just need to be happy we live in the age of tv on dvd... we'll always have seasons 1 and 2 to rewatch and enjoy.
