Am I the only one who wants to see one of the villains turn into a hero. We've seen he hero turn into a villain in Adam Munroe. During the whole season watching Sylar help Maya and the other mexican wonder twin (what'shisface?) really made me hope that he would have a change of heart. I guess L counts but I want to see a big bad fight for the greater good sorta like when Namor or Doctor Doom would team up with the fantastic four to fight Galactus ya know?

no that would be terrible i want to see more heroes as villains or atleast using there powers in a morally grey area think sorta like when eden met matt and used her powers on him

I was really hopeing that Sylar would turn light side for a little while, and show how hard it is to be a good guy, and then fall back down. I thought they could have had a really cool dynamic with Mohinder and Sylar working together for a common good, and Mo actually start to trust the man that killed his father. It could have been good.

I was hoping that Maya would become Sylar's Harley Quinn, and he'd show a bit more genuine affection for her. Not that he'd become a hero or anything. He gets way too much of a power trip out of playing the bad guy. But it'd have been nice to show that he's still human, if not a severely ****ed up one.

But hey, who knows what'll happen next season?

The way they've setup Sylar, he can never have a partner or work with a group or villains, because he'd just take all their powers.

Unless they drastically change his motives.

Well we kind of have Elle. She seems she may turn over a new leaf and go strictly Hero and not be inbetween Villan and Hero.

I don't see why. He mostly targeted people with powers who weren't doing anything with them. Besides, people are rarely that rigid in their motives and motis operandi.

Maybe it could be like Adam leading the villains team and Sylar is for some reason in check.

There have only been two straight up villains so far: Sylar and Adam. I cant see Adam being a good guy, he's been bad for 400 years (Hiro's fault, shouldn't have taken his girl) I cant see him suddenly turning good. Sylar cant be good either. He's just such a greedy bastard. He wants all the power for himself. But I cant wait for more villains intoduced in volume 3. Sounds like an epic battle is on the horizon.

I think Elle is still a bit of a sociopath. When she runs to get Sylar, she didn't really give a crap about Mohinder or Molly, she just wanted to kill Sylar. That and she still pretty brutally murdered that Irish guy in cold blood.

I think Elle will eventually become a hero. She may have done some despicable things, but that is because of the way the Company molded her to be their assassin. Once she found out more about her past, I think she will severe her tie with the Company and join the heroes.

The only way I could sort of see Sylar being portrayed as a hero, is if he decides to go after the Company for giving him the virus. He seemed quite piss'd off when Suresh revealed this bit of info. But Sylar seeking some revenge would hardly classify him as a do-gooder.

Isn't that what happened with HRG? Sure, he wasn't completely 100% evil, but he was a bad guy at the beginning of the show.

But Sylar is. And he targeted anyone and everyone with powers. He was hardly selective. The guy has an obsession with power and being special, he's not going to have a superpowered tag-a-long.

i cant see Sylar teaming up with other villains, unless he plans on killing them at some point. Niki and Adam bore me, hopefully they can make them remotely interesting next season. Elle's bad to good transformation was rushed..so i hope she moves back to the bad side for a while (until they kill her off like all my favorite characters). Bob has some evil potential, same with Angela Petrelli. Noah probably shot Nathan. what other villainy characters are there?

Wouldn't it be funny if Sylar didn't have his powers back, and that Claude was messing with him. Ok maybe not THAT funny.

Here's my question. Does he have the powers of the girl whose brain he ate at the beginining of season 2? Can Sylar create illusions now?

I think a Mexican standoff of sorts: Villians vs Sylar vs Heroes, would be awesome.

That's my feeling also. I think Elle is a terrific character (and I love Kristen Bell), and I do think she, more than any other villain, has the potential to become good. She was deceived by the Company, who made her into this assassin and never knew who she really is. Once she found out, I think Elle would denounce the Company & Bob, and join the heroes.

In my opinion, it would be a four-way fight.

Sylar vs. Heroes vs. Villains vs. The Company. May the best team win.

Sylar (basically just himself)
Heroes (Peter, Matt, Claire, Hiro, etc.)
Villains (Maybe a bunch of cool newbies and characters that have switched teams)
The Company (Bob, Mohinder, possibly HRG, possibly Elle, possibly Mama Petrelli)

Yeah. I was hoping Sylar would keep Alejandro's death a secret, and manipulate Maya, turning her evil. Then, the two of them could be partners, going around slaughtering people because "they're different."

Eventually, Alejandro's death would have to come out, and Sylar would try to kill (and maybe succeed) her. Or, Sylar's lust for power leads him to try to kill Maya, and he reveals he killed Maya's brother, than the two part. (In a more violent way then that sounds. There's no way the two could just walk away from eachother peacefully.)

No, I might be wrong, but I don't think he had his powers at that point. (To 'see how things work' or whatever)

So therefore he couldn't take her powers, he just murdered her for the hell of it

nah, he wanted to take her powers and it was only after he killed her that he learned his intuitive powers didnt work

Sylar would be an interesting turn. I felt like we got to know him a bit better when we saw the ep with his mum. I felt a little bad for him.

But I don't see him really becoming a good guy. He's just done so many awful things. And I think killing his mum was like crossing the Rubicon for him: he tried to go back to watch-making and she insulted him and well, you know the rest. I could see him teaming up to save the world only if he felt threatened himself.

I'd like to see Elle continue on her path to becoming a hero though. I hope they don't brush over the fact that she has issues though - I'd like to see her sociopathic tendencies haunt her.

I believe Sylar could still become a hero. I don't know if anyone has though of this but maybe Sylar is suffering from multiple personality disorder just like Nikki was. Just a thoery.
