Get rid of the name Superman. It's not realistic. Just call him Kal. Get rid of the powers too, they just don't make sense. Instead of flying he could have a glider that lets him get across the city. And he should wear black, and only go out at night so people don't recognise him. And the S shield should be an actual shield.

Okay, here's my real critique.

You know how the Superman design is supposed to be simplistic? This is not it. The added red does nothing for the costume, the belt serves the same aesthetic design as with the trunks, but with out them, it is useless as it highlights the waist and not the area the for some explainable reason everybody is attracted to when a character is in all one colour, that isn't black*. The Dong.

*It's possible it's a societal meme, which is why for some reason some men look at other mens man danglers in the showers at gym and stuff. For women though it is more of a evolutionary thing y'know, because from a purely scientific standpoint, the sole purpose of life is to pass on your genes, we do that through banging.

Until this design is fixed (T-Rex arms and Jim Lee shoulders?) I can not truly pass judgement, but this fails in the same way that the first two do (the first to a lesser extent), it still accentuates his junk area, however it seems to have gotten around this by removing them. Ouch.

This one I could actually see as being a viable alternative, the big gold bellybutton serves as a suitable colour break, but again just seems a bit silly, people would just ask "Where are the trunks?"

For starters, they must get away from the Donner movies Krypton and FOS. For Krypton, although I'd most want the iconic classic Alex Raymond inspired Krypton that Joe Shuster designed, I think the Birthright version is a solid update of that and would look great:

As for the FOS, I want the classic all the way:

I hope Snyder makes this movie look like a brighter version of Dawn of The Dead and not too studio/greenscreen. Dawn of The Dead is probably the most "real" looking/feeling movie of his I've seen if you guys get my meaning.

Whilst I think its an awful movie I get what you mean about it been the most real looking movie of his

Yeah, if Krypton looks like Birthright-if it is vibrant, living and colorful, then you will see in the technology and in the fashion exactly where Superman's costume comes from. Also if he builds the FOS himself, then it's much better than daddy Jor-El doing it for him with a crystal. Also, no Jor-El AI telling Supes what to do-his morals and ethics came from the Kents and the huge doses of Horatio Alger and Auguste Comte that Ma made sure he read coming up.

I want the awesome FOS with the Key, the Super-Computer, the Intergalactic Zoo, the ocean tanker, the miniature sun-eater and the anvil where Superman makes tiny white dwarf stars, and of course the huge statues of Jor-El and Lara holding the globe of Krypton.
