Days of Future Past Wanda & Pietro?

Humans did kill his first daughter, Anya. Check any of his bios.
Technically fire killed her. :woot:

I'm not saying the story has to be exactly like the comics. I'm not one of those fans that don't understand the difference between movies and comics. But at the same time they can't deviate too far from the comics either.

I always thought the holocaust scene in X1 was.. enough.
Enough to kill the German officers but not enough to become one of them to kill all humans. He needs more tragedy in his life.

I wouldn't expect to see them anywhere near this first movie...not physically and not in fully developed roles.

I would however expect another small cameo or a reference to them.

i had been wandering who held the rights to these characters... i'm hoping fox does.

I think adding them here would be too many plots...

Maybe they use them in the sequel, who knows.

But I wonder if Fox and co. would add them with the same age as Scott, Jean and the rest of the x-men.

If Fox does in fact own the rights to them, it would probably be best to save the characters for a sequel. Hopefully an X4-type situation, but that's just my wishful thinking

All you need is one scene of Erik looking at an old photograph of him with his kids...

I'd save them for a sequel too..

i kind of want them in this one though.... i wonder if they wait to bring them in how exactly theyd do it. i think its now or never....

especially since i think waiting to bring them into the sequel would be really wonky and forced. maybe expanding their roles for the next one... but them popping up out of no where and trying to show that they are important wont make sense.

Id rather see Lorna. Although I think green hair in real life may be a bit distracting.

and her presence is kinda similar to Jean... A girl who can move objects (though just metals)

yes, I think one mention SHOULD be done on this movie, maybe a litte scene, where Eric talks about his past, or his love interest and something about his children.

And then on First class 2 (if made) they can make a good subplot with them.

I think this would be a good opportunity to show the different teaching methods of Xavier with his students and Magneto with his kids.

I hope not cause I'd rather see them in the Avengers, especially Wanda. I hope Marvel has the rites to them two and not Fox. Not sure but it looks like Marvel does.

i'm kind of torn. even though i'd love to see the scarlet witch in an x-men movie (which would make the most sense), marvel's productions have been amazing...and she was a long-time avenger.

If Mystique or Storm can be taken seriously, I don't think people would mind Lorna to much. Especially if done the way "Psylocke" and Storm's hair were shown in the third movie, as if the hair was dyed those colors

Both Wanda and Pietro has never been confirmed anywhere to be owned by Fox. If so and someone knows for certain please post the link. Fox does not have the rites to all mutants. They have most of them because they are tied to the men universe. Scarlett Witch is an integral part of the Avengers more so then the x men universe. I'm sure when Marvel sold the rites for xmen to Fox the popular characters and villains were a given. With the Avengers off the ground you can expect that Marvel isn't going to just let Fox claim The Scarlett Witch. Her history has been way more tied to the Avengers then the Xmen. Fox may try and claim her as theirs because they are supposed to own all the mutants tied with the men universe but Marvel certainly has grounds and would probably prevail if any legal courses are taken. The character could just end up not being used at all but if she is ever used for the Avengers she will never be referred to as a mutant and as Mags daughter.

Well we're getting Hellfire Club in the first film, that does leave future films open and I for one would like to see Blob, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in a Xmen film, maybe as a earlier form of the Brotherhood.

I don't remember seeing anything confirming that Hellfire Club was going to be in this. It's all just fan speculation right now.

There seems to be a thin line between wide fan speculation and the truth.. :p

Spectre,
I havent been following too closely. I thought HFC was confirmed.

Nope. We hardly know anything about the overall plot other than it's about the teams earlier years. The only thing we know about villains is that Kevin Bacon will play one, and likely Oliver Platt will be one too, there's just no word on who.
