That's not what I was talking about, and if you can't see whats ridiculous about you then there is no point in me telling you.
Uhh...the fact that they put women's cut underwear on Superman in SR makes me ridiculous? Or the fact that we have laws here banning Speedos on beaches because guys got beat up here for wearing them? Not following you.

I do not believe I have to argue about the wrongness of putting on female panty cut on SuperMAN.

Yep. Completely oblivious, you are.

No. You just haven't stated your position on it. State it and I will know what you are talking about.

Is it that it is okay for them to have put womens cut panties on SuperMAN?

You know, i'm not too fond of the costume either.

But just look at your post. Look how adamantly you are arguing with the others here, being condescending towards them and bashing the film as if it had killed your family, and over what?

A pair of underwear on a Superman costume. Why are you so aggressive about something so insignificant?

I guess given the lack of response you think it's fine for ppl to beat others up b/c they are wearing something their neanderthal minds don't like ?

I have no idea where you got any of that from in my postings in this thread. I merely stated that they added women's cut panties to his suit. A cut that resembles Speedos. And I explained how in America the Speedos since it's over 20 year introduction has never caught on because it is too close to the lower half of a womens bikini. And the fact that it was banned on many US beaches because the wearer was being beaten up for it. How is any of that what you said above?

Why are you guys acting like I created the laws. If you have a problem with it, argue with the city councils that created the laws. I am only telling you the reality of the fact that many beaches here have a ban on speedos for that reason. I didn't make up the law. And I didn't tell CNN to report about one such beach in 2003. And I did not put up the people who I personally witnessed beating up males who wore them on said beaches. I merely stated that I and many of my friends growing up in Hawaii witnessed it. I have heard from friends in California who witnessed it. What, am I supposed to lie and say these things aren't in existence and didn't happen?

i don't think it was really women cut panties... it was more along the lines of hot pants that anything.
it was the slanted belt that did more damage to the trunk design than anything, because that gave the impression of elongating the torso.

Not just here, but every post i've seen you make. You have a condescending, self-important tone and are too passionate about things that should be insignificant.

An entire paragraph that has nothing to do with my post.

You call it condescending. I call it telling the truth, to wich I might add, I have been right most times and taken a lot of heat before I was proven right. I was attacked severely for saying the film would be lucky to make 200 million domestic and would never make Spidey numbers. I had people call me all sorts of name. Even had posts of Bryan Singer tying me up and dragging me behind his truck until I was a bloody stain. I said that the sequel would not happen with Singer or his hacks at the helm. His hacks have been fired. I know the articles said they walked on their own. That is hollywood speak for the studio told them to take a hike. Singer is next. I took crap for saying that the WB would make JLA before SR2. And look at what is happening. JLA will come before SR2. I can't help it if many people here are so jaded that they can't see what will happen, and what is happening. And I am not going to sit and not respond to someone making up stuff. Seen it too much with the lead up to SR. Too many people claiming things that would definately happen in the movie that never did..and in the end, they were just making up stuff.

Fact is, everything I have said and been heavily attacked has come to pass. I am sorry if I stick to my guns on what I am seeing will happen, which eventually has happened. And you can bet that if there is an SR2, which I think it will either be a reboot, or an offshoot from JLA, or none at all, will have a radically changed suit from SR and it will be more towards the classic suit, with the classic suit cut shorts and not the ones from the SR suit.

What are you talking about?

When did I say you were wrong about anything? I am talking about you being too passionate, nothing to do with your predictions.

But basically that post just proved everything I said about you, and i'm sure Hunter Rider is seeing the same thing right now...

Ahh I see, so only you guys can be passionate and tell the truth. I am just telling the truth. Sorry if you guys don't want to hear the truth. And were is there a sticky about being too pationate. I have talked to C. Lee many times about this very same thing and he has told me numerous times "You aren't doing anything wrong, and you aren't violating any rules by being passionate about your position." He had also mentioned a few times those who were complaining were the pot calling the kettle black. I have talked to other mods who told me point blank "except for the one time you got banned on purpose, I have never seen you do anything wrong, or in violation of the rules" I also had another mod tell me about how he would tell people who would complain about me to look at what they were saying to me in the thread, or how passionate they were being.

And the fact is, we are arguing over something that is going to be gone in the next movie anyway. The WB is changing the suit back to the classic suit and classic colors. Even the sepia color correction from the first film will be gone. If they do a sequel. If it is a reboot, which I think it is, then none of the previous issues will apply.

What is funny is that Transformers had the same color correction scheme, just with more contrast. The skies in it a lot of times are the same azure blue, and yet it was not a problem and will be retained in the sequel.

you still proved me right, payaso... there has NEVER been a SUPERMAN SYMBOL on the classic suit before Singer... there's an enormous difference between a color-inverted Superman symbol and a simple "S"

If Singer had used a simple "S", I wouldn't have such a problem with it... but no, he had to use a symbol.

LOL. The symbol makes so much sense than a simple S. In the Donner-Singer franchise the S is not letter but the family crest. :hyper:

then you must be blind. Both buckles feature the logo logo representing them. Both have the belt seen through the logo.

And they look nmothing like that feminine belt you posted. Batman's belt also has featured the bat-symbol and that doesn't make it automatically a Gucci belt. If you're devoted to be a hater have some class being it and make valid comparisions.

Hell that belt isnt even a belt. It is held on with Velcro to the pants.

LOL.

Yes! And that actor that played Superman can't actually fly!!! They use wires to make him loook like he's flying!!! American values are nothing about wires!!! :o

And I still can't believe you guys are arguing about a suit that, except for a small section of the Superman fans, failed miserably. It was goofed on in FHM for its feminine leanings. There were reports of people going into stores and seeing it on the display stands for merchandise advertising and being called the banned word. It was a failure and too far a departure from the classic suit no matter how you guys try to spin it.

I can understand people from Europe having a problem seeing what most people saw as it does have a lot of European emo crap leanings, but this is an American Superhero we are talking about here. Not some Emo crap one like Singer tried to turn him into. Representing American values. Hence the "Truth, Justice, and the American Way". And in America, we goof on Speedo's. Hell, they were banned on beaches in a few states because people wearing them had been beaten up. Here that? They had a ban on people wearing them to protect the wearer. They were never migrated into American culture as they are too close to Womens cut style for bathing suits and under garments. Even after being introduced more than 20 years ago, the man who wears them are still heavily goofed on. The only people that find them manly is the group that Singer is a part of. When a guy wears a speedo in an American movie, the usual point of having the male character wear it is for a laugh.

I don't know if you're maiking up any of this.

I for sure know you're able to make things up just to bash this movie.

But it's undeniable you are supporting this stupidity.

I guess given the lack of response you think it's fine for ppl to beat others up b/c they are wearing something their neanderthal minds don't like ?

Speedos shouldn't be banned...just a requirement for wearing them. Male must be at least 6' tall, at least 220lbs of solid muscle mass, and cannot be worn by anyone older than 39.:oldrazz:

Speedos are

. I wouldn't even want to see Tom Welling in a speedo.

then why didn't they do that for the rest of the suit?...

oh wait...
that's right...
they did...
and you know what?

they thought it looked ridiculous...

ONE SYMBOL ONLY. He doesn't have to promote himself on his stomach and boots if he wears his family crest on his chest...

I'm not. Naked, great. But a speedo .. gag. Seriously, no matter how hot a guy is, he just looks ridiculous in a speedo. (imooc)

They... who?

ONE SYMBOL ONLY. He doesn't have to promote himself on his stomach and boots if he wears his family crest on his chest...

LOL, So according to you, they got it wrong in the comics, since he has another S symbol on the cape. :)

I never said that a symbol on the cape was wrong... I have no problem with it being there or not.

and as for the millions of :super:s... yes they did make a suit for SR that had :super:s as the pattern, and Singer himself basically said that it was ridiculous

Apparently you do have problems with it:

ONE SYMBOL ONLY. He doesn't have to promote himself on his stomach and boots if he wears his family crest on his chest...

So, you think any S symbol other than the chest's one is totally unneeded. But then again you don't specially care about another S symbol, other than the chest's one, being there or not.

Or is it that maybe in your opinion Superman can use an S symbol on the cape, but not specifically on the belt and boots?

Or is it that maybe whatever Singer does with Superman you have to hate it?

and as for the millions of :super:s... yes they did make a suit for SR that had :super:s as the pattern, and Singer himself basically said that it was ridiculous

Now how many people other than that 5% of audiences that are geek fans like us noticed or knew about the S pattern all over the suit?

Basically you're hating now something that cannot be seen.

Or do you hate also the bricks pattern in Spiderman suit, since - let's admit it - bricks have nothing to do with Spiderman.

"you guys"?

Have I even told you about what I think of the film? Since when have I said only people who like the film can be passionate? In fact, when did I even mention your stance on the movie?

You're just putting words into my mouth right now.

So, you think any S symbol other than the chest's one is totally unneeded. But then again you don't specially care about another S symbol, other than the chest's one, being there or not.
When it comes to the cape, no, I don't have a problem with it being on there or not because Superman has been established with that type of cannon already...

but when it comes to other places... like the boots, inside the shield itself, the heels of the boots, the belt... yeah, I have a problem with it. The artists didn't do it before because there's no reason to have it there... it draws unnecessary attention to parts of the body.

Or is it that maybe in your opinion Superman can use an S symbol on the cape, but not specifically on the belt and boots?
there's simply no need to have symbols everywhere on the suit... especially so near the groin.

It makes it look like he's to compensate for something... maybe a bigger chest symbol?

Now how many people other than that 5% of audiences that are geek fans like us noticed or knew about the S pattern all over the suit?

Basically you're hating now something that cannot be seen.
from what I'm gathering on here, you haven't seen the making of Superman Returns, because it clearly shows and tells us that Singer thought it was a bad idea.

I guess you haven't watched it yet...

Or do you hate also the bricks pattern in Spiderman suit, since - let's admit it - bricks have nothing to do with Spiderman.
a brick pattern doesn't bother me at all... nor does the diamond pattern on the SR suit. I have absolutely no problem with a pattern design on the SR suit whatsoever, but there's no need to make it a :super: pattern, let alone an "S" pattern...

if there had to be a pattern, I would prefer it to be diamond based... IMO, it's a lot better, because it doesn't have an alphabetic shape to it.

If not a diamond pattern, then definitely an octagon pattern... it reminds me more of a smoother, more flowing shape because it resembles a circle, but it's more easy to connect with 8 sides
