What are your Gripes/Concerns with the project?

not necessarily...it just means that they won't do a sequel. Speed Racer is almost guaranteed to be a hit and that's based on an anime...

My worries are with the filming being rushed that the effects wont look good like Colossus in X3 and they will miss some things in editing like they did with Beast`s neck in X3

The timeframe concerns me greatly. Is is even possible to create a good film in that timeframe?

High school and Goku do not mix. It sounds lame. I don't know about Chatwin as Goku. If he's going to be believable as a Saiyan warrior, then he better work out. He looks a little slim in the photos.

My concerns would be that the general audience won't be interested in this type of genre and the movie will fail.

I'll give this movie a chance though.

Concerns - the colorful costumes mean they MIGHT take the FF or DoA route and the movie might suffer a bit because of it... and piccolo not being...piccolo... though im certain they'll stay true to him after seeing recent pics

You know guys, Phone Booth only took ten days to film. I know it was filmed in basically one location, but it doesn't change the fact that a good film can take a short amount of time to materialize.

Dragonball won't be the next Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or Hero, but I'm still holding out it will at least be fun and entertaining.

I think we'll know where we stand when we finally get a trailer.

I expect DB to be like F4, I will find things to like, but will ultimately be disappointed by all the wasted potential.

Young Goku at the beginning of DBZ wasn't "big" like he was later in the series. He was very muscular but he wasn't bulging.
