What character should Marvel films tackle next?

I think a mix between Die Hard + Rush Hour + Shoot 'Em Up for a Deadpool movie would give us a hell of a movie.

Neither. Spider-man was a romance action movie and The Punisher was dull and depressing. I still think that The Rundown is as close to a Deadpool movie as we can get for now. That is definitely the feel I want.

What would we need to make a petition for? It's not going to convince anyone from Marvel to go ahead and hand the rights over to someone to make this film. I honestly don't get how a petition is going to fix anything. Anyhow, when has there ever been a petition that has actually worked out for the people who made them? Just think back to when people were complaining over the fact that Daniel Craig was playing a blonde version of 007/James Bond; did that petition solve anything? No, it just made those people look like an idiot because later on Daniel Craig was considered possibly to be the best Bond ever. Anyways, just give Deadpool some time, I'm sure we'll see it available in theatres later-on; my best guess would be around 2009-2011.

Yeah but Raimi is too much of a sucker. That's one of the many reasons why Venom, no Spider-Man 3 sucked, and always will(just my opinion however).

I hated sandman, I liked Venom in his fifteen minutes more than I liked sandman and stupid dark peter dancing like an idiot.

Sandman shouldn't have been in it. I didn't hate. but I disliked.
and I loved Black Spidey. too bad he almost wasn't in the movie.

Cloak & Dagger- Hmmm.....this would be risky another sound theory but would marvel really want to put in high $$$ on it? Dagger could be Renee O' Connor (Gabrielle from Xena) or Kelly Clarkson "Seriously". And depending on how old they wanna go with Cloak I'd vote for Tony Todd, Denzel Washington "if they're gonna spend some mega coin", or Malik Yoba. I'd give direction to the guys that brought us "The Craft".

You do know that C&D are teens, right? Denzel's a good actor and all, but his days of playing a teenager are over.

Exact-O-ly. If someone ever came up with another idea for a petition... well, they just better re-think that idea and keep it in their head because that idea is not going to solve anything; it's just going to irritate the holy hell out of people. A petition is just the minority of the target audience's opinion on how something should go or turn out, and in my opinion; all of the people who make those petitions are a bunch of cry-babys who can only except things to go in their favour and once they get what they want but it doesn't have what they wanted included, they will start crying and crying and crying

who would you guys want to direct these movies, I think Micheal Davis (shoot 'em up) should direct Deadpool, and I actually wouldn't mind if burton directed Dr. Strange.

if Davis can deliver the same style of Shoot 'Em Up for Deadpool, them I'm all for it.
I just hope the director knows how to make comedy, too. that's what I'm looking forward for Deadpool. it's what made me like the character.
