Bane's own plans...such as...?
Doing things that Talia COULDN'T do. Being the theatricality while Talia was the deception.

But nobody is even saying it's "Bane, Bane, Bane". Perhaps you're not understanding what Anno's view is.
Yah, I'm sorry, and that's cool if you still think that, but Bane is more than muscle to me. Him and Talia were partners and Bane was not just this muscle behind Talia. Heck, Talia doesn't even need muscle whatsoever.
Then I guess one could say my ass is attractive as well.

You've got it backwards, Bane is the deception. That makes him the physical, the muscle, the spectacle for everyone to see and focus on. Everyone is looking at Bane out there in the streets speaking unintelligibly, meanwhile the brains of the outfit is working the plan behind the scenes.
The real plan is not 'give Gotham back to the people,'- which is the nonsense that Bane is spouting, the real plan is destroying Gotham and making Bruce watch helplessly. That's the plan which all stems from Talia's desire for revenge for the death of her father.
Anno believes Bane and Talia to be equal partners in the villainy in the film.
I don't see a reason for Bane to have an interest in Batman outside of his connection to Talia, so I don't see why Bane is an 'equal partner.' Therefore, Bane is simply the physical hand, the muscle of Talia's machinations.
It's hard for me to see Bane as anything more than muscle without any emotional connection to Bruce/Batman
I don't know you well enough to judge but I'm going to guess that 2+ hours would be too much.![]()
As do I.Anno believes Bane and Talia to be equal partners in the villainy in the film.
No, you have it backwards. Talia al Ghul pretended to be Miranda Tate for years. THAT was the deception. To be that regular civilian carrying the button to detonate the bomb. THAT was the deception.
Mocking what Batman has done over the years and ruining everything Batman tried to do for Gotham City is enough of a connection to how Bane is towards Bruce.
Watching my ass for 2+ hours isn't a good thing; the same feeling I have for Katie Holmes.
There were two deceptions. Talia being Miranda and Bane's distraction of the city from Talia's real goal. Destruction with Neutron Bomb. And Miranda didn't have the trigger...Bane did.
But why? Because of Talia.
She's not actually on screen for the entire 2 hours like Bane is...

Watch the movie again. Miranda was the regular civilian Bane spoke about that would have the trigger. She even mentioned this to Bruce.
Well, I guess that was all part of HER plan. I don't know when I'll watch it again, if I do.

No...just no.
What an exaggeration.
In all seriousness, why would Bane care if not for Talia?
Is that not allowed?
Er you even see it in her hands!!
Since Bane was the one doing everything, that connection belongs to Bane, period.
It's hard to come up with a reason why Bane would care if it weren't for Talia isn't it? If not for her, what's his motivation?
Did there need to be one though at first?
The League went back to Gotham and there had to be someone that could carry on and destroy what Batman had done for the city. Such as how Joker randomly appears because he felt like Batman finally completed him, Bane came into town to ruin what Batman had done.
More Batman, Selina and Bane less everyone else. Especially john blake.
