The Dark Knight Rises What Do You NOT want to see in Batman 3?

PAthetic and a comic relief? I don't think he will be, if he's included in B3.

I like Penguin, he isn't my fav but it's always good to see the guy. Best story I can think of with him recently is the Joker's Asylum issue. Loved that one.

People may disagree but not too many characters. Just because it's the last one doesn't mean every character from the comic should be squeezed in there. No Two Face because bringing him back ruins the premise of the entire of B3.

- Robin;
- The Joker's Return;
- Scarecrow (again).

I think that's about it.

Odd as it sounds, I don't want Black Mask/Roman Sionsis to be anything like Justin Hammer in IM2; in terms of personality and competion.

I don't see how he could be. BM is a sadist, not a comical wimp.

I think a lot of people like the Penguin just because he is such a long running 'classic' villain. As I said before, the comic book penguin is supporting villain material at most. He's basically serve a similar role as Maroni in TDK...except not as important as Maroni.

Things I don't want in B3:

-Cameos by other actors that have played Batman.
-people in the batcave that aren't suppose to be in the batcave.
-Anything in 3-D.
-Hush.
-Catwoman and Batman kissing.
-No Harvey Bullock of any kind.
-scenes at the end of the credits.
-Samuel Jackson.
-On Screen real world product tie-ins.

Of course, it was Jason Aaron! :woot:

An animated sequence that's better than the entire rest of the movie.

-A dumb looking Batman vehicle
-A stupid looking Batman mask
-The stupid Batman voice
-A fantastical villain reduced to being a generic villain(realistic)

I don't want to see just Hans Zimmer doing the score, as is suggested by the news article on the front page.

It wouldn't feel right for him to work on the score for the first two and then bring someone else to do the third one. And even if they did that, whoever it was would have to build on the themes Zimmer has already established for the sake of consistency. I felt a bit underwhelmed by the Begins score, but thought Zimmer stepped up his game quite a bit in TDK. Even though I won't be expecting the score of the third film to be nearly as epic as Elfman's score, I'm still looking forward to hearing the direction he goes this next time.

What Do You NOT want to see in Batman 3?

the mad hatter as a pedo or any i other interpretation.( what most people don't realize is that many of batmans villans were created in the fifties and were appropriatly silly, mad hatterand riddler are among them. )

the same cowl from TDK

Another thing I don´t want to see in the movie is an unknown actress playing Talia or Catwoman.

Selina Kyle/Catwoman
(with just a little more screen time than what was given to Harvey Dent/Two Face).

I'm still not sure who I'd have Tom Hardy play. I'm leaning toward Black Mask (if done right - and I believe Nolan could do the villain right).

A small cameo of Penquin could be kind of fun... maybe Phillip Seymour Hoffman in two mob scenes. If done right it could be fun. This could be done in just a little bit more screen time than Scarecrow had in DK.

So wait, are you saying you don't want to see Catwoman at all or don't want to see her only get a few minutes of screentime?

I don't want to see:
A lack of women. My biggest criticism of TDK was that it was like a "Beware all ye Women who enter" territory - Rachel died and Ramirez we all know about.

A female character dying. Cause if there's one more thing Nolan needs, its a 6th film of his having the female characters used as motivations for male ones in their death.

Sadist boring Black Mask. To be more specific, I'm not opposed to having Black Mask as the villain, but I do not want to see his utterly boring character used from most of his appearances. If he's a torturer fine, but put a little more effort in, Judd Winick's version that was a hilariously snarky but utterly evil bastard would be great.

Yeah I loved Winick's Black Mask as well.
