seriously, I feel like Spider-Man should be easy for any decent writer. He's an everyman personality with great powers. He has one of the best rogues galleries in comics. Just run with it and don't try to reinvent the wheel every few years.

Yes, one would think that it would be very easy to just produce solid Spider-Man stories without trying to make massive changes.
