I would make his white face makeup and lipstick more thicker and the black around his eyes a little bit more bigger. But other then that his hair looks pretty cool besides the curls on his temple

I don't like the curls around the ears, but I would also make the Joker more of an assman.

yeah, but that's just Heath's natural hair. I'm sure they could have done something. We probably won't even be able to tell so much (unless at the IMAX).

The only I can think of is just if his hair were a just a little shorter, but thats just a nitpick really. Not a big deal.

They are intentionally releasing very weird angles and unrevealing pictures of the Joker. All you have to do is use your imagination. When he turns to the screen with his white face, messy green hair and smiles an evil green you're going to see the scariest, most realistic Joker ever.

more realistic than '89 Batman?

Simple.

Completely bleached skin.
Completely green hair.

Completely bleached skin, the lipstick more straight and precise then what we have right now, and I think I'd have the cuts straight instead of shapped into a smile--that way he could have more looks then smiling and when he does smile, it would look completely deep, from ear-to-ear, completely unnatural and unnerving.

Make him look more like Paul Bettany...

In all honesty though, the only thing I want changed on this joker is for him to be all white.

If I had my choice of an ideal Joker, however, he would far more clean and almost metro sexual. Well groomed hair, the lips would be normal, but red. I love what Nolan is doing though - for the most part - in regards to the new look, I just need him to be all white.

The more and more I think about the appearance of the Joker, the more I really don't care if they stick directly to the comics for it. Just make him a freaking disturbed crazy homicidal killer clown. If they do that, it works. Every storyteller has their own vision of the Joker, this is Nolan's. Things like the skin not being completely bleached white or if he applies make up, or the hair not being completely green, don't really bother me. As long as they get the spirit of the Joker right, appearance tweaks don't make much of a difference to me.

I won't disagree there but I swear I've seen pics of his hair solid green. As far as the skin I'm going to try and let that one go. I honestly don't believe in the so-called spoiler. Just doesen't sound like good writing. So I've prepared myself to just let that one go. If he paints only the face. Oh well, still pretty creepy.

You're not alone. I, too, no longer believe the "twist," and have accepted that we are getting a makeup-wearing Joker simply because I have no choice but to.

seems like they changed the dramatic scars into puffy swollen scars.....so id change that and make jokers hair slick back....not in curls

I'd change the scarring. But that's all.

Look at this cropped image... ALl I've changed is the saturation and contrast etc... I think with this pic it's easier to believe that the joker paints on the flesh coloured skin tones. It seems as though he isn't uniformly white, but blotchy...

What do you reckon?

from all colors i thought that the purple would be more dark then the green. nolan made it different.
in the imax pic he has bright green hair.
