Beverly Hills Cop II - 8/10

Better direction this time around from Tony Scott. The man sure does like his dusk settings.

It should be called "Call of Duty: Aliens"

It reminded me a ton of Black Hawk Down.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (2011)

First 15 minutes threw me off, I couldn't really tell if Daniel Craig is playing a Lawyer, a Journalist, or something else
One scene at least explains the reason behind the story original name; "Men Who Hate Women"
The Swedish adaption (2009) is next on my list, hopefully it's a better movie. The novel will be the last thing I go through

8/10

The Gangster Squad (2013)

Don't expect a classic mafia film, this feels more like a fun adaptation of a comic book. Brolin was especially awesome in the film as was most of the cast, but I didn't dig Gosling and Stone's characters or their subplot. Also, it's always good to see Robert Patrick in any big movie.

Seven Psychopaths
Martin McDonagh hits it out of the park again. Seven Psychopaths is clever, funny and it's always one step ahead.

Zero Dark Thirty
Starts off promising, but turns into a boring episode of CSI. How this is nominated as best picture is beyond me.

Gangster Squad
A fun flick with a real fantasy element to it. Characters are are one dimensional which it's real flaw.

Bernie
Jack Black shows off his real acting chops here. I felt like Linklater was trying to show Bernie as an innocent victim, but sorry, murder is murder.

In Bruges

Finally got to see this and while it had some laughs, I wasn't expecting this to be more dramatic. Granted there's some twisted dark humor in it but I didn't feel it was enough throughout.

Seven Psychopaths

By the same director from In Bruges and I thought this was so much better in everyway possible. From the opening shot alone, I was already loving it just because of the two cameos. It had a lot of hilarious moments while being extremely meta with the story. It's almost like Cabin in the Woods for serial killers.

John Dies At The End.

This movie!! Hahaha! So awesome. It was like A Scanner Darkly meets Idle Hands or something. So just deliciously twisted and funny. I honestly think it would have been a ton of fun if rotoscoped like ASD. Honestly, I've never understood how that never really caught on too well with theatrical films but that's a whole other story. All in all 8/10 just for the fact that it had me cheesin the entire way through

Argo

It was pretty good. I enjoyed every second of it.

Brokeback Mountain - 10/10

The Game - 9/10

Damn, it's been a long time, but this is such a great movie.
