Dredd
The Sweeney
End of Watch
Hit & Run
Snow White and the Huntsman - Extended Cut
The Grey

Scarface

Just saw it for the first time in its entirety, and I can now understand why Tony Montana is such a classic movie character.

The Hobbit--9/10. It had everything I loved about the LOTR trilogy, but the overall cast of characters wasn't as strong. Still really good, though, and it managed not to feel like its length is padded.

Swingers--7.5/10. Funny, but I only liked it because of Favreau's character. The rest were kind of annoying.

High Fidelity--9.5-10/10. A personal favorite of mine. It cracks me up every time, and the characters and their emotions feel very real and complex.

Fright Night (2011)--8/10. I liked it a bit more than the original. It had all the fun, but the characters were better fleshed out; the old ones were solid but based entirely on typical horror tropes.

Tales From Earthsea--7/10. Pretty entertaining but kind of messy in its plotting.

Les Miserables--9/10. There were some parts where the amount of time that had passed between events was unclear, and some of the filming was kind of erratic, but these things didn't lessen the movie's huge emotional impact. The songs were great and all the actors did a really good job, even if Russell Crowe's singing isn't quite as good as the others.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

I expected a dumb one-note gag, instead I found pure gold, funniest film I've seen in a while. 8/10

A cool concept squashed into a 90 minute B movie with a bit of 80's charm. 5/10

Wreck-It Ralph: 4/5

A charming, witty and entertaining film that made a gamer like me have a small laughing fit quite occasionally. This film really celebrates gaming over the years while crafting an enjoyable story to follow (which has a few unexpected twists, but still remains predictable).

The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey: 4.5/5

As someone who felt rather nervous and wary about how this film would turn out, I must say the final result was, ahem, rather unexpected.

Time flew by so quick, even during some of the slower and dragged on parts of the film. Visually stunning with strong performances from all actors (Martin Freeman is glorious). Really can't wait for Part 2.

4/5

Looper - 9/10 I love the concept of this movie, and the characters really suck you in.

Total Recall - 4/10 I wanted to like this movie, but it was so dull and didn't deliver.

The Bourne Legacy - 7/10 A really good entry in the series.

3/10

The movie never lost me with the Perd Hapley cameo nor did it lose me with the fact that it is a piss poor version of a Michael Bay movie. It lost me how ****ing boring it was.

Image is no show, and the link doesn't give the movie name
What movie is it?

Side by Side, it's a documentary about the advancements in digital filmmaking and the possibility of actual celluloid film becoming obsolete. It's a very interesting documentary if you're interested in cinematography or just filmmaking in general.

Taken 2.

Enjoyed it a lot, but doesn't really stack up to the first one. I felt the original was more constant with it's action and a far better pace over all. The new director is evidently a fan of the "shove the camera in the middle of a fight scene" technique which made the hand to hand combat difficult to follow. Still maintained the loveable cheese of the first Taken though, which provided some good moments to laugh along with the movie.

Red Planet 7/10

Smokin Aces 8/10

Devil's Advocate 9/10
