Game Of Death 5/5 - die hard Bruce Lee fans hate this one with a passion but personally I enjoy it more than Lee's earlier Kung Fu flicks, it's a strait forward easy to understand action karate flick even if it's actually two look-a-likes actors doubling in for Bruce.

A Good Day To Die Hard

Man was this some cartoon sh**. As a Die Hard film, they just didn't understand why the original worked. It actually becomes a parody of the franchise right from the get go with the car chase. That's when I took my low expectations and turn it into a stupid action film that parodies Die Hard. By that I actually enjoyed the film a lot more, but I still wish there wasn't a father/son plot. Also from the begining you can tell it was heavily edited because they barely even show that garage unzipping scene. :o
6/10

Snitch

As a Rock fan I had to see it in the theater and for what it's worth, it was a good character based film. The Rock and Jon Bernthal were terrific for a film like this, they both had great chemistry. Also you can tell the film borrowed a few of things from Breaking Bad which seems alright, but the film doesn't give you a light moment. It was always on the serious side.
7/10

Dark Skies - 4/10

this movie sucked. thank goodness I didn't pay for it.

Flight. 8/10.

I didn't catch this originally, and I did want to see it. I'm glad I got around to it. Denzel is one of my favourite actors, and he delivered the goods here again. I found it quite poignant and sad during the end segments, when Whip just couldn't let the alcohol go and descended further into the abuse cycle. In light of the Lance Armstrong saga this movie was particularly relevant, especially with the end hearing section. It's an interesting story. Yes, he drank during the crash - which is grossly irresponsible. But by doing so it very likely led him to do something (invert the plane) that nobody else would have done, thus saving almost everybody. And the plane nosedived and it was out of his control. But you simply cannot have pilots drinking. If he landed the plane and kept going like this, something was sure to happen anyway.

"Argo **** yourself"- ill give it an 8/10. I really hate Ben Affleck as an actor but the dude definitely is a great director and it didn't hurt to hear classic Heisenberg scream lol also I think Alan Arkin definitely is great.

The Room- A true cinematic masterpiece in every sense of the word.

Also....

The 40 year old virgin. Still hilarious, lol.

A well crafted drama that has a sly sense of humour running through it, Affleck gets stick as an actor but I think he was perfectly suited to this role and as director he keeps his narrative tight and engaging. Overall though I'm not sure why it's won all of the recent awards. 7.5/10

Thinks it's a lot smarter than it actually is and is directed by a guy who thinks slowing the frame down makes him John Woo. Carrie-Ann Moss and Mark Dacascos at least make likable leads despite being given very little to work with. 2/10
