The Package starring Steve Austin and Dolph Lungdren. 6.5/10

Austin is perfect for the tough guy action roles and does a good job , but the film isn't very cohesive.

Smashed

Great performances from everyone especially Mary Elizabeth Winstead who carried the film. Jesse P...I mean Aaron Paul was also good but he barely had any screen time. The one major blow this movie had was the writing, it wasn't trying to do something new. It was going though the motions that we've seen many times.

Street Fighter
Screw the haters. I enjoy the hell out of that movie.

Wreck It Ralph

There's an incredible amount of ideas in this world, and the movie took a lot of them, which I'm very glad. I would've liked less from that candy world and more of exploring other games, but I'm sure a sequel will provide that.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) - regular theatrical version

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986)

Starman (1984)

Henry : Portrait of a serial killer 7.5/10

Euro trip, the scene with mini hitler still cracks me up.

-The 40 Year-Old Virgin (at home): I decided to revisit two of Judd Apatow's most popular and well-received films (this one and Knocked Up). Knocked Up hasn't really aged well at all for me (and I really liked the movie when it came out), but The 40 Year-Old Virgin is still a really funny movie. I still love the fact that even with all of its raunchy humor, the movie contains a really sweet message. Good flick!

-Warm Bodies (at the movies): I know a lot of people complain about this being "Twilight With Zombies," but I simply don't find that to be true. Yes, the girl and the monster fall in love, but that's where the similarities end for me. This movie proves to me that you CAN incorporate love into a horror story (and vice-versa) without being as braindead as Twilight. This was a fun little movie, plain and simple. I'll definitely be checking out the book soon, and I hear it's much "darker" than the movie in terms of its characterization and comedy.

Oh, and did I mention that the soundtrack to Warm Bodies is kind of amazing? :)

Killing Them Softly (2012)

I mostly, really liked this... mostly. When it let me figure out the political parables myself and immersed me into this seedy world of scumbags and the underbelly economy. But honestly, with all those Bush and Obama speeches, it became too heavy handed and pretentious for it's own good. That's coming from a guy who does not find Assassination of Jesse James pretentious in the slightest.
