8/10

I'm psyched for this. Where would you rate this among Boyle's filmography?

GI Joe: Retaliation

A lot better than the first one which isn't saying much. The Rock, Ray Park, and Byung-hun Lee were the best parts for me. There was a lot of bad dialogue and a few not so funny joke lines. The ninja mountain scene and Storm Shadow vs Snake Eyes was easily the most memorable scene in the movie. Also damn, Adrianne Palicki looked pretty hot in that dress.
6/10

Liar Liar.

An excellent example of formula done well.

Pirates of the Caribbean

I haven't seen The Beach or Millions so I rank them like this:

Sunshine
Shallow Grave
Trainspotting
28 Days Later
Trance
127 Hours
Slumdog Millionaire
A Lifeless Ordinary

Just saw American History X for the first time. At times, the dialogue is too on the nose, and Furlong's arc is slightly too much too quick. The ending... Powerful at first, but then leaves you with questions, feeling slightly unfulfilled (Which may have been the purpose, but I'll have a think about it. I literally just finished watching it).

Overall, VERY good, well deserved reputation.

Oh, and Ed Norton was absurdly buff in this compared to normal.

That movie is a classic! Actually watched most of it for like the millionth time not too long ago. One of my all time favs. Sad as all hell but just a powerful film.

Red Dragon. Ive always been torn whether I like this or Silence of The Lambs better. Will Graham is leaps and bounds far more interesting of a character than Clarice is that's for sure, never understood the love of that role. Anyways, can't wait for the premiere of Hannibal tonight. Think I'll watch SOTL next

Arachnophobia for the first time. I love the effects. It's a fun movie , but not as funny or scary as I expected. Still enjoyed every minute of it. 7.5 / 10

The Life of Pi. Amazing CGI and I love the story. I didn't like switching back and forth between the narration , but this is a great film 9/10

Are you having an Ed norton marathon? Lol if so, I demand that you watch death to smootchy next.

Thanx for putting that in my head! Haven't seen it in years, love that movie. But, if I was doing a Norton marathon I'd be going for Primal Fear or People Vs Larry Flynt first ;)
