How to Train Your Dragon 2
It's very rare that a sequel to a movie surpasses the original,or carries over the same levels of entertainment as the first film
but How to Train Your Dragon 2 does so and more.
Taking place Five years after the people of Berk made peace with the dragons, everyone seems to have and befriended one and there are even dragon races.
Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler)wants his son Hiccup(Jay Baruchel) to succeed him as chieftain, but Hiccup prefers exploring the land and finding new discoveries with
his dragon Toothless by his side, but a new villain and discoveries about his past and about himself loom on the horizon.
HTTYD2 has terrific voice work from the entire cast. The 3D and animation in the film is immersive, sharp and incredibly seamless.
The film consistently provides so much action, drama, and humor that it feels shorter than it's 102 minute running time.
There are a couple of dark turns in the film, that may be a bit much for very young viewers, but i applaud the film for it's strong messages
about friendship, family and how people can change for the better sometimes if you show them the right path.
