Lost River (2015)

I simultaneously liked this and hated it. I think Ryan Gosling has the potential to be a far more interesting film maker than he is an actor, but he clearly lives up his own ass. It's a really well made film, but the script didn't warrant the kind of Refn/Argento/Lynch approach he was going for. It was too simple.

There is an amazing Batman Returns reference though, so kudos.
