It was okay for the most part. For a movie that is about a serious true life case, they try to make it as superheroic as possible. Chadwick Boseman plays Thurgood Marshall as if he was Black Panther himself minus the suit. And just like with superheroes, they made Josh Gad his Robin sidekick. As it goes along it becomes less of a bio-pic and more of a Perry Mason episode. Acting wise it's good, but predictable. There's also some comedic moments spread out which I wasn't really expecting. Overall, it's a enjoyable crowd pleaser that isn't really doing anything new. 7.5/10
It's a very slow burn drama that is all about men, women, and jealously. I haven't seen the original, but I can see where this is a bit more focused on the woman side of things because it's directed by Sofia Coppola. The best thing about this was the performances between Collin Farrel, Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst, and Elle Fanning. Outside of that, it's nothing really special. I was actually expecting things to get more wild and exploitative with the drama and it never really does. 7/10
