VAN HELSING (2004)
Quality = 3/10
Joy =6/10

After nearly a month of not seeing movies, I see this weird kinda entertaining crap.

Stupid nonsense with CGI that is worse than the 2003 Hulk, but some entertaining performances from David Wenham, Hugh Jackman, and especially Richard Roxburgh as Count Dracula, he's hilarious.

Brides of Dracula move and act like they are the lieutenants of Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat Annihilation.

The bright side of it all is that it's not one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

Hundraettåringen som smet från notan och försvann / The 101-Year-Old Man Who Skipped Out on the Bill and Disappeared (2016)

The Disaster Artist (2017)

I don’t know if I should be at all surprised that the movie looses steam when they start to make The Room.

Wants to be a Hitchcockian thriller, and it's ok at first, but becomes very silly by the end. 5/10

Leatherface
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Texas Chainsaw
Texas Chainsaw Massacre II
Texas Chainsaw Massacre III
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - decent 7/10

Not a whole lot different to previous films but I liked Pratt and Howard a fair bit more this time.

Den of Thieves

Trashy Heat knockoff that is a blast to watch. The climatic shootout is a work of beauty.

9/10

Bourne Identity

A solid start to the franchise.

Blade Runner 2049 - 9/10
Everything that could be said about this film has been said. It still feels strange to experience the unlikely scenario of not just having a sequel to Blade Runner, but having one that is nearly as great in every way as the original, and great enough to stand on its own as something that still feels like its own thing.

TOMB RAIDER (2018)
Quality = 6/10
Joy =5/10

This dull movie needed a good amount of humor to make it easier to sit through.
It's a dull movie, not bad, but dull. I expect a significantly higher level of entertainment from video game movies, even dark stupid crap like Resident Evil series (with first and second being watchable as movies). This is just boring, not the action, not the pictures, not the relationship between father and daughter, and not even the mystery is entertaining.

I'm sure the apple scene has to do with Alicia being married to a guy who acted in two movies that are about apple in some sort.

Why would someone go to jail for getting hit by a police car? Why can't they live in their parents house under the fact that it is not registered as owned by the known adult progeny of the mansion owner? Are laws in real life really this messed up?

Early Man - 8/10
A shame this was overlooked in the US (at least at the box office), as it's as charming and fun as Nick Park's other work.

Only the Brave

Based on the true story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots. It's Hollywood so accuracy can always be questioned. It does a good job of some character bits sometimes bordering on melodramatic. The little character stuff was more interesting than the fire sequences. Somewhat effective because of the cast led by Josh Brolin.
