Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead

A great Troma film and a great homage to some horror films. It's one of those films where people who get offended easily would never get the humor they are trying to put out. The exploitation is pretty extreme even for Troma but then again I haven't watched that many Troma films. There's some gory, disgusting, and odd scenes that you have to make sure you aren't eating anything.

Stolen

Wasn't expecting a whole lot from this but I was surprised how hilariously awesome it was. The story was absurd yet entertaining and Nic Cage for the most part is the cheesy good Nic Cage. Usually with these films you get a lame villain that plays off the star but Josh Lucas plays a great memorable villain.

Poltergeist - 5/10

Poltergeist II - Watched it while doing something else/10

Poltergeist III - Didn't even finish it/10

Poultrygeist is one of my favorite movies ever.

I just saw Taken 2. The directing and the editing were horrible. The movie itself was fun. I had a great time with it.

Resident Evil Retribution. It doesn't have a story, nor engaging characters, and yet, it was fun, with non stop action. some scenes were quite good, like the first scene, the chase scene with the Alice clone, which was really a good horror zombies scene, and her fight in Tokyo. The score was quite good. It was mostly well shot and edited, save for the final fight. Not a great movie, but it was fun.

Prometheus.
It is better the second time even if the film is not on the level of Alien(s).

Mysterious Skin 8/10

Joseph Gordon-Levitt's best performance so far in his career.

7/10 Today was actually the first time I've ever seen this. Abbott and Costello were fun and seeing the monsters together was cool, but Strange is a poor replacement for Karloff and Lugosi was a bit old to be Dracula again. Lon Chaney Jr. is awesome as Talbot/Wolfman, even if the makeup felt a little subpar compared to the original Wolfman. With all that said, it's still a really fun old movie.

3/5. I love Karloff's monster and Lugosi does a great job as Ygor. The best of the Frankenstein films has to be Bride of Frankenstein, but Son of Frankenstein is still a lot of fun.

Star Wars: A New Hope

Still awesome....a part of me wishes I had been old enough to see it in the theater. I was only old enough to see ROTJ.

Not nearly as bad as I had been lead to believe, but very dull and very boring for the most part.

3/5

Dial M for Murder

While it's not totally a horror film by some, it's still a frightening mystery story by Hitchcock. Ray Milland plays an excellent antagonist, his subtleness of planing/covering up for the murder is what makes that film great. However, I was kinda bored with it being just mainly one set piece throughout the film.

lol what's worse is the message they were trying to tell the viewers.

Yup. This entire movie was a load of horse**** and I was hoping it would have shown some of the female inmates shank Biel.

They make it out to be some kind of ghost or creepy guy(to be honest I thought it was about the Slender Man, just with a name change) but instead it's Biel kidnapping kids from a broken town to give them to rich people.
