House of Wax 7.5/10

I thought the first half was really good at building suspense. I was surprised by one of the main characters being the first victim. I think it's underrated in the horror genre. Although most of it is generic there is some shocking brutality and the wax effects are fantastic. I think it's worth watching for the finale.Paris Hilton wasn't that bad either. The role doesn't require to much but she was able to handle it and I've seen much worse.

Shark Night

For what it was, it was pretty decent. There's a lot of intentional/unintentional funny bits that never got me bored but it never did go over the top for me. Oh and Sara Paxton in a bikini for most of the film? that bumps my rating automatically.
7/10

Escape from LA

9/10
CGI looks even more cartoony than Scorpion's hook blade rope/snake from Mortal Kombat movie

The Campaign

Given the amount of talent involved, I thought it was gonna be a lot funnier than that. I think Jay Roach is losing his mojo.

The Campaign

Hilarious for the most part, Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis I thought did a great job playing extremely incompetent candidates. There's a lot of funny gags but my favorite has to be the punching baby and Zach Galifianakis campaign manager who I thought stole the show every time he shows up. It did lose a lot of steam towards the last part but it was still not bad.
8/10

Falling Down

9/10
My favorite Michael Douglas film
