There'd be nothing wrong with a bald Hulk, but I will say that what we got was best and I'd have been there as your backup. :D

Bald would've been ok, I guess. As long as he didn't have hair as Banner & then turn bald when he hulked out. I remember in one of the TV movies, Banner had a beard & yet inexplicably, the Hulk didn't.

Gamma radiation comes with its own built-in Gillette razor . It was cheesy tv back then. Of course the filming staff knew that viewers would notice something as glaring as that. lol

Well I don't know, I've engaged in quite a few arguments around here where people seem to feel that the Hulk should look nothing like Banner at all. Now I know your post has nothing to do with it, but since we're in this thread, and you bring up the point that they should share "hairstyles" I think it bares repeating.

We've been subjected to artists rendering the Hulk a million different ways over the years, so I can understand where the sentiment comes from. But it's not like the Hulk has his own personal skull and skeleton that hides somewhere until Banner gets mad, its a mutation. The main knock on Ang's Hulk was that he was "too handsome". Not angry enough, sure, I agree with that and TIH got that fixed. But he looked like a mutated Eric Bana, which makes sense, that's what the Hulk is. And both Hulks look human, TIH is just more angry in his facial expressions. In the cave scene he's looks just as "handsome" as Ang's

"The Trail of the Incredible Hulk" is the TV movie you're thinking of, and I thought it was rather stupid to not give Hulk a beard. It'd have been cool to see ol' Lou with a beard. Anyway, Norton is one of the few actors who looks cool with a bald head or with hair, so him being a bald Banner could work, as well as a bald Hulk, but it's not something that needs to happen, you know.

Right. "Trial". A misnomer, first of all, as neither Banner nor Hulk saw the inside of a courtroom. And it really makes me want to laugh at the relentless bashing of Fox's DD movie.

Oh-and here's Lou with a beard.

I just posted here! Oh wait.. how many which Hulk looked better threads are there..? :hehe:

Lou is still in great shape...I'm so glad he didn't end up like Schwarzenegger...

'03 Hulk looked all fat/chunky with no muscle definition and his face looked like the Gerber baby on steroids.

'08 Hulk was lean, muscular, ripped with more pronounced muscle veins and looked like he could rip an entire solar system.

And lets all remember the Hulk cartoon from the 80's whenever Hulk changed back to Banner his ripped clothes would magically become new.

Oh, God. I was 9 years old & that irritated the crap out of me. I guess it was to help preserve his secret id. But boy was that stupid.

It sounds stupid, and the only Hulk cartoon I've ever watched is the 1990's version, which is highly underrated.

It was stupid, but it had its high points, like narration by Stan.

The only problem I had with the 1990's cartoon was him always wearing the same attire. Then again, I hate whenever a character doesn't occasionally switch up his attire in a cartoon such as this.

In the cartoon, he wore the same purple pants, no matter what different colored shirts he were. The fights were cool at times, but ultimately not as good as they could be using today's animation.

Then you must get annoyed watching MOST cartoons.

Not most, just some. I just like a little variety at times. I guess it depends on the cartoon, really...

08 Hulk better overall.

I was referring to their physique. Both are very successful, and have their signature characters whom people love, so both are successful. But I was referring to this:

Lou (2008):

Arnold (not sure when it was taken):

Yeah, I knew what you meant, but you have to give Arnold some slack. He proved he was the greatest and moved on to other priorities. He's not in bodybuilding or showbusiness anymore, so being ripped isn't even on his radar anymore. I'd say he looks as good or better than any other 60 year old.
Lou had to stay in shape because he was, and still is I believe, working as a trainer for a lot of celebrities. Lou was even competing again until just over 10 years ago, so Lou was on the "stuff" more recently than Arnold was, I'm pretty sure.

I'm pretty sure that recent photo of Arnie was photoshopped. I can't prove it, but I have a strong inclination that it was. Nevertheless, I am shocked at how Lou has stayed in fantastic shape. Juice or not, he looks great!

As for the Hulk, he always looks great...:woot:

No seriously, I just watched TiH for the 4th time (theater and DVD) and I just can't believe how awesome the sfx is. I don't know where people get that "video game" look from.

I was just saying I was impressed with how Lou managed to stay in shape, I'd have thought Arnold would have to, bue he doesn't. Also, I don't think Lou used as many, if any, steroids as Arnold has.
