The Joker doesn't kill to torment Batman. He likes tormenting Batman, but he was killing people before the two ever met. He's like Carnage. He kills because he can and because he likes it.

That maybe true I've heard there was a story where Joker thought Batman was dead and actually went SANE. If thats is in any way accurate then Jokers existance is obviously connected to Batmans. Carnage has no such reason. He has no plan, he does whatever he wants to do. Not even because he enjoys it but because he can do it. Hell he hurts himself (writes on the wall in his own blood), throws babies out of skyscraper windows etc ad he kills every person individually, he doesn't hatch some elaborate scheme like a bomb full of chemicals or anything like that. Because that would require planning and thats is something he doesn't do. The Batman spider-man crossover with Carnage and Joker teaming up did quite a good job (for a crossover) of showing the differences between the two

Yeah, well he held the Thanos doppelganger by the neck and the doppelganger was supposed to be more powerfull than the original :D

Red Skull is pretty badass as well, i love how he is the total opposite of what Cap stands for. His negative so to speak...

Red Skull is great as long as he can be behind the scenes or fighting someone with strength and abilities like his own. I remember reading a couple of comics where he fought Kingpin and Magneto (well he didn't really fight Mags, he was taken by force and thrown in an underground bunker to rot) and he didn't fare very well against either of them. :venom:

Okay I will try and refrain from being a dick here. Yes Galactus has killed billions but possibly even trillions. In fact I would think it is in the trillions. In 15,000,000,000 years or so (roughly the entire length our universe has existed) I am sure Galactus has devoured over 1,000 planets with millions of not billions of people. So that is probably a given.

Thanos single handedly (with the help of the Infinity Guantlet of course). Killed off half the population of the universe. Now at the time 92 there were approximately 5,000,000,000 people living on earth. So with one snap of his fingers he killed at least 2,500,000,000 people just here on earth. So who knows really how many were killed when he did that. 20 billion? 100 billion? who knows for sure.

But that was reversed by warlock soooo.

I would give it to Thanos simply because Galactus is not a villain and this is a villain thread. As Reed Richards put it, he is like a force of nature. He does what he does to survive not for personal gain or because he likes killing. :venom:

Very very true. :D

Yeah I read those too. I think the fight with Kingpin could have been better. But Magneto could pretty much do that to any human.

Not to mention the fact that the real Thanos anally raped said doppleganger in their fight after he was through screwing around.

Exactly :D Good to see you around J Blaze, how is the DTL going?

Eh, it's going decent enough. Might have an opening to fill here shortly if anyone is interested.

That's mostly because The Joker enjoys the little dance he and Batman engage in so much, he'd hate to not have him as a potential dance partner. He has had plans that in no way involve Batman. But if there was nopossibility of ever facing Batman again, he'd be crushed.

Oh, and I think The Joker and Carnage are equaly random. It's just The Joker plans out his evil plots more intricately. But his thinking them up in the first place is completely random.

So as of right now we have rounding out the top 3

Doom
Joker
Magneto followed by "other"

Bullseye is one of my favorites personally, but he doesn't belong on this list.

I would have to say that Doom is the greatest.

Is that all you can say? Couldve at least put some facts to your post
But I'll give you some facts so you could shove them up your ass.

Magus is superior to Thanos in:

Cunning and intelligence- Magus made an army of clones, even Thanos admitted he was outmatched when they faced each other :down. Thanos also needed to team up with the IW, Doom and Kang to defeat him.
Strenghth, Durability, and Concussive Force- Not even close, Thanos already battled him and he lost:

As for the clone thing, that still doesnt prove anything, Thanos was literally struggling when he was finished with the doppleganger. Whereas Magus just grabbed him by the neck.

Thanos' power is in flux, he's always getting more powerful everytime you see him. Thanos as portaryed in his own series would walk all over most people. He's gone toe to toe with Tyrant and Odin for pete sake

Where are those things ever stated? Maybe because Magus had control of cosmic cube(S) I mean he did put Eternity, the second most powerful being in ALL the Marvel Universe into a comatose state.

Your point? We don't know if Thanos was really getting smacked around or if he was simply distracting him so Warlock could erase hom from exsitence.

Yeah, we dont know.
Anyways... Magus appeared again, so that means his plan didnt work.

No his plan did work, are you even familiar with the Infinity Guantlet, Thanos Quest, Infinity War, Infinity Crusade conflict? When Warlock became all powerful (or almost) he dispelled all good and evil from his being so that he could rule without conflict or having one erradict thought of destroying the entire universe.

But in doing so he re-created the Magus.

Dr. Victor Lehnsherr said:
Coolness- Magus takes it

Compare that to this :D

Umm you do know that Magus is in possesion of ALL the Soul Gems minus the reality one. So Thanos and Warlock were merley giving him the illusion he was all powerful. Once again it proves nothing.

And only Thanos would have the nuts to rock a Thanos Copter! Magus can only rock a white afro, anyone with nappy hair can do that!

How many times have Magus ruled the universe?

How many times have Thanos? Exactly
