Man that would be great Cherokeesam, I definately would love for Cap to realize that calming Thor down and rationalizing is the only way they're gonna stop him.

Thor and Cap have a very deep mutual respect for each other in the comics and I definately hope to see that brought to life on the big screen.

I'm actually thinking it'll be Coulson that talks Thor down, given that he's the only one that he's met before.

In the comics, does Hulk ever give Thor any respect? I'd love to see those two do a bit of bonding ( after they've smacked ten bells out of each other).

Thor did pledge to aid the Son of Coul if asked. It would make sense if Coulson was the one to convince him to join the Avengers.

I don't remember but he did in A:EMH and I would love to see them grow to respect each other during the final battle.

That's assuming that Coulson is present at the first meeting.
But yeah, that would add all kinds of awesome to the Legend of the Son of Coul if he turns out to be the one who convinces Thor to lend his aid to these mortals.

^ That could work as well, as a matter of fact that might just be the best route to go.

Really looking forward to hopefully getting more Thor action and dialogue in the next trailer.

So far, it's only been him, BW, and the Hulk that we haven't heard any of their american dialogue from the film as of yet.

It's a bit weird that Thor hasn't had any dialogue in any of the trailers yet considering he's one of the main four and his brother is the film's main villain.

I'd think that Nick Fury wouldn't have any qualms chewing out Thor's ass, God or no God, though if his reluctance to harm Loki endangers innocent civilians.

Agreed but we're talking about breaking up the fight between Thor and Cap & IM. He's never met Fury before so why would he listen to him? At least with Coulson he knows who he is and therefor would be more likely to listen to him at first.

It's because it's Samuel L. Jackson playing Nick Fury. That's why Thor would listen.

Well, it is a sequel to Thor. It's also a sequel to Iron Man 2, and Captain America.

TIH, not so much :csad:
Yeah, tho EMH was heavliy Thor related as well in the first season. Makes me wonder if that'll be the case with the movie verse too?

He's not allowed to use the MF-word in Avengers, so SLJ's power will be negated.

Yes, I haven't heard Jeremy Renner speak yet. RDJ seems to have the most lines in the trailer thus far, followed by Evans or SLJ.

Thor, banner and hawkeye needs more lines in the trailers....
especially thor.
the russian/german trailers seems to have like one line for banner, thor, and widow
next trailer needs more lines from thor and banner mainly

I wonder if they do a sequel for TIH will it actually follow that storyline, and lead into The Leader or would they take the whole new look from Avengers and go a different route
