Sooooooo .... Anybody interested in getting this thread back onto the topic of Thor rather than pregnancy opinions and *****ing about Chris' wife?

I am, because this topic has been annoying the hell out of me for the last few days.

It's so ironic that in a film where he's not the central character in, that Thor will have more battle looks/outfits/designs in this film than he did in his own film.lol

I don't see why he needs them to be honest. I like the little nods to the ultimate design and the Kirby design though.

I was under the impression that Captain America was going to be the primary focus, not Thor.

It is realistic for the characters to have different versions of their costumes in the movie. People don't have just one set of clothes, or multiple sets of identical clothes that they wear all of the time. Well, they do in cartoons but not in the real world.

ALITTLE further on Smith Motors. I think the hardest thing I'll be doing is Jane's Airstream camper.

Yes but Thor in particular doesn't come to Earth with a wardrobe. The cape coming off is realistic but what is the explanation for sometimes fighting with his chainmail and sometimes not? We will see.

You inspire me to make this building on the Sims 2 when I put it back on my laptop as a community lot that sells, what else, cars. Do you have any images that you use to get the look of the building just right? I'm afraid I'll be needing some visuals to get a feel for the layout of the building.

Well mostly stuff from behind the scene footage and site stuff but I litterally find something that I KNOW the measuremenets of and litterally MEASURE to get close sizes

Maybe he gets hot? Maybe SHIELD fabricates clothes for him? He'd get pretty funky if he never had a change of clothes while staying on earth. :woot:

Captain America is going to be the "focus", things will just be from his point of view alot because he's the most "grounded".

This will be quite a challenge for me in that I'm sure constructing things in the Sims is quite different than rendering them in 3D. While there are various sized lots to deal with, they still do have their set parameters.

Yeah Active Worlds was the same way and I did see a Sims version of That 70's Show Foreman's house. you have to work with what you can get.

Do you mind if I use your rendering as a template? And could you do a top down perspective of the building for me? I'll understand if you don't want to. It looks like I need to get some good images of the building from the movie as well for textures. It would be easier to customize textures in the Sims 3, but I don't have the ability to run the business selling cars like Sims 2 has with Open For Business.

yeah but the thing I'll end up griping about is Hasbro's crap made up costumes. You watch they'll have half a dozen costumes that aren't in the film or in any other art for the film
