What're ya gunna be doing with these models varth? anything specific, or just felt like doing some computer modeling??

Well ANY kind of modeling I love doing it's just a heck of alot cheaper doing it VIRTUALLY lol
I have a pics of an Amoco Foodshop I managed that I built from SCRATCH for a buddy's N scale train set (the building's about a 1/2 inch high) but even finding a hobby store around this area that carries styrene is a pain.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but is this not the cosmic cube inside that thingy?:

Think it has anything to do with how Thor got to earth?

Yes it is as they are more than likely returning "the jewel of Odin" back to him ..... and yes it's my opinion that they use it to bring Thor back.

heh makes me wonder how the entire situation will go down with Fury.lol
Nick: so YOU say this belongs to your father and you're here to take it home?
Thor: Aye, he had left it with your ancestors centuries ago.
Nick: proove it.

lol

I wonder if Thor will know or find out that Loki isn't really his biological brother in this film and that he's actually a frost giant.

I've been wondering the same thing, but I tend to think that Thor finding out about Loki's parentage would have happened off screen before the Avengers movie. I do wonder if they'll have a bit of dialogue addressing it with Thor trying to make Loki realise that he still considers him to be his brother.

Can't wait to see Thor angsting about Loki. I'm looking forward to that just as much as I am about seeing Thor kick some alien butts.

I think so, but I don't see his feelings towards him changing.

i love that we really havent seen much dialogue from this film yet

Yeah, I like that too. I hate going to see a movie when I already know too much about it.

Now that I look at it, I think the "head" of Mjolnir is bigger in this film than it was in Thor.

Just look at how small Thor's hand is in comparison with the head of the hammer.

I really like the whole dynamics that Thor has with Loki..I mean just their backstory alone with each other has so many possibilities to work with when creating realistic and compelling drama in my opinion.

It's definitely tragic to see from Thor's end on having to now deal with someone who he knew as his brother for nearly a thousand years (I think.lol).

Plus, I hope to see a small moment between them where it looks like Thor might convince Loki to stop being evil, only for Loki to throw that chance out of the window soon afterwards.

Yes, their dynamic is very rich. I believe we'll see a moment like the one you described.

Btw, yeah, they're probably ''only'' a thousand years old; two children.:oldrazz:

lol indeed and whoops.haha

It's hard to believe at times that Thor and Loki in the MCU are that old and that they had centuries of adventures before the events of "Thor".

Indeed, that's one of the complicated/strange things about gods: their time scale is so huge that's hard for us to picture it in our heads.
Anyway, their immortality can offer material for some compelling stories. Thor himself faced, more than once, issues about his relationship with his Avengers friends, whether he should establish bonds with beings whose life were as brief as the flame of a candle when compared to his.

Hard to tell in this gif but i love the way Thor flips/turns his Mjölnir in that group shot. It look 100% cooler in the actually fluid trailer. If any one find a better gif post it.

I love how Thor just stands there and covers his face when that giant explosion happens above them, I find small things like that to be very important in showcasing Thor's invulnerability.

Yeah, man. That was great! And the scene where he lands on the ship is badass too!
