The Dark Knight Will it be too dark for the children?

Yes, let's hope so, no children allowed.

Two redheaded bastards ruined SM3 for me, well them and Sam Raimi of course.

I agree with the responses to my post...kids can be cool, it's their parents who raise them to be over protected, annoying little f**knuts...or lack of raising them...

Maybe that's why the film's title doesn't include the word ''batman''? That way they will filter out some dumb parents who would bring their kiddies to the cinema without any knwoledge what the film is like :woot:

It won't matter. Kids nowadays watch R rated movies like it's nothing.

I gaurantee you that if 12 yr olds ran the world, it would be nothing but porn, adult swim, Grand Theft Auto, and SpongeBob all the time. You couldnt scare a kid nowadays if you dressed up like Michael Jackson and set muppets on fire.

  That is exactly where the fault lies. Many kids nowadays dont work for anything, they just get it handed to them on a silver platter by their parents. This gonna be too dark for children, and i want it to be so when i wait all day in line to see it at midnight i wont have to deal with annoying little kids ruining the experience(like this stupid kid at transformers, and SM3, dang you Wii-Boy!!) And as mentioned earlier since batman isnt in the title it will weed out the idget parents who will have the idget kids.

10000000% correct.

hehehehe, funny cuz it´s true!

BB was considered too dark for kids too, and it still did fine. It´s not the kids who´re squeamixh, it´s the soccer moms.

I'm happy that you agree! :woot:

No one who sees a trailer with Batman and the Joker in it is going to suspect a movie called The Dark Knight to actually be about Batman! :whatever:

So when the parents see Batman in the trailer, they'll probably just think it's a ridiculous ploy to get people into the theaters as they certainly wouldn't think of it being an actual Batman movie. Seriously, that idea just doesn't hold, not a single strand. As soon as people see Batman in the trailer they'll know it's a Batman movie.

That would be like someone thinking back in 1980 that people wouldn't see Empire Strikes Back because it didn't contain STAR WARS in the title. I'm sure even the idiots can realize that.

My parents: "Crow(not my real name), You cant go see The Dark Knight, its probably some asian porno trying to get the DC fanbase, clearly if it wasnt Nazi propaganda and was an actual Batman movie it would have Batman in the title."

Think of Empire Strikes Back. Very dark, scary as hell...greatest kids movie like basically ever.

They'll deal.

Kids dig scary. The problem is their sissy parents.

Most people that have a vague knowledge of pop-culture know that the name Dark Knight is associated with Batman.

Another thought if the teaser

STARTING TONIGHT PEOPLE WILL DIE!

has something like that in it, smart parents should know not to take their kids to that
