Will we see a Venom that sucks?

It's just sick to see how many people support such a bastardization of material.

I love Spider-Man, we deserve better.

I still hope that Raimi is just messing with us.

am I only the person that finds the term "VINO" incredibly corny and unoriginal?

When I dislike something or disagree about something I post it once then I ****.

Do the same please. I'd be a great service.

Yes,but then where's the fun in drilling one's opinion into the heads of others, and then berating them for not sharing the same view?:o

Answer the question, do you think this is what the creators had in mind for Venom?

Answer the question : Does anyone care but you and a few hardcore comic book fans who can't accept a few changes?

The comics and movies are two different beasts. Get that into your head and there will be peace. I like the comics, but if the movies differ, I don't care as long as there is a good story.

While I don't agree with Tangled Web on his opinion about Brock/Venom... I'm not threatened by his expressing of his opinion either. Why does it bother you so much? Ignore it, or debate it. What's the big deal?

They showed us a bigger Brock in the comics.

But Grace still look impressive and he'll be quite good as the character I think. Who cares if he's not a hulking monster. He looks intimidating and sleazy enough

In my opinion, who cares if Venom isn't the same in the comics. if it works with the continuity of the films and works well with the plot of the story, I could care less if it is or isn't the Venom of the comics.

And what would you suggest one do IF they do not think it will be a "good story"? These boards are to express opinions about SM3. Opinions about what we know, or think at this time. Where's the harm in that?

Can you please answer the question? Also, consider the following:
"Who cares if it's not the same as the comics?" Well, for one thing people love this comic book character so, at what point does it sway so far away from the source material does it become an "in name only type of thing"?
Another thing that bugs me is kids thinking that this is how Spidey really is. Just like the ones who got mad at Batman Begins because "Joker killed Bruce's parents! This isn't accurate."

I'm sure the general public would like a more faithful version of Spider-Man just the same.

I don't see why they couldn't have done that.

The "harm in that" is that people on this board seem to think their opinions are THE opinion. I regularly listen to whatever opinion people have. But if they go on like this, acting as if there is no such thing as a differeing opinion, I tend to get angery.

Why? Then they win. Why does their opinion carry more weight than others? Than your own? And why not express why your opinion differs from theirs... than simply telling them to shut up, or to quit posting, etc... or even just getting mad?

Debate it... or ignore it. Seems pretty simple to me.

A differing opinion? How is saying that Grace hasn't shown the acting ability yet and opinion? How is saying that A grey spider-man costume as the symbiote being unfaithful to the comics an opinion?

That's your right. I don't totally agree with you, but I understand where you're coming from.
