Vince sure says ''things of that nature'' a lot

That was fascinating. Exactly what you'd expect from Vince...at times, 100% sincere (even if he himself is the only one who agrees with or even believes what he is saying)...and at times, 100% B.S. and spin. Still...it was fascinating.

I despise the mentality that titles don't matter. Are they a device used to further a story? Yes. Does that mean they have no importance? No. If you put a title on Hornswoggle then why should I care about another character's journey to capture a championship. Any throw away person on the roster can win a title, so why are they important to the characters on TV?

I think between Punk's podcast interview and Vince's its been assured that everything we read on the dirt sheets about these people is 99 percent true.

Shame we'll never know who the mole is.

Edit: At least McMahon confirmed they did not change Lesnar's deal. Suck it, dirt sheets!

Vince say's he not out of touch. Then promptly has no idea how fans can interact with the WWE.

From what I've read, Vince is serving up a healthy dose ********.

There were a lot of political answers we've heard before , but Vince was surprisingly frank in some areas. He's also never going to retire.

At least five times McMahon said "I listen to the audience." Yet also said "how do we know what the audience wants until we try a bunch of things?" and refused to say how fans could contact WWE, and voice their opinions, even rolling his eyes when Austin suggested fans contact him on Twitter.

It is clear to me that Vince is king of the WWE and will do as he sees fit. He claims Cesaro doesn't have "it," and knows damn well that Jim Ross and CM Punk are two of the best out there, but not so good as to have worked out his issues with them before they left the company. He insulted the entire roster several times, praised Brock Lesner as being special, and the only guy "worth" defeating the streak, and said no one has reached for the brass ring since John Cena. To me, the emperor had no clothes on tonight, but believed he was dressed in all his splendor.

Hit the nail on the head

Vince sure hates the term"Pro Wrestling"and keeps sticking to "Sports Entertainment". Austin mentioned both and Vince right away corrects him that his father did pro wrestling and of course mentions how he had Austin sing and stuff

I see Vince is waffling on about his imaginary brass rings again. :whatever: I'm not knocking Cena's hard work or talent, but he had the machine shoved so far up his ass he needs to move cables to brush his teeth.

Punk's interview and this one with Vince is reminding me why I lost my passion for wrestling or well wwe after being a fan most of my life

I just can't take the WWE anymore..I stuck around for Ambrose as I've been a fan of his since his Indy days and Rollins and I really wanted to see Sting make his impact but after listening to the Podcast Pipebomb and now this? Nah..I'm officially 100% done. I'll stick with the indies, NJPW, ROH, etc.. I may come back around come Mania 31 (stream it.. I won't get the Network) to see what they do with Sting.. but.. I can not watch this garbage anymore.

If the WWE is still around 10 years from now I'll be shocked.

Vince said they aren't a "pro wrestling" company years ago so I stopped viewing them as such.

Here's the official trailer for the upcoming Warner Bros./WWE DVD/Blu Ray

What Vince really means is "John is the guy who is the most marketable, and he'll do what I say and not call me on my crap too much. He's a company man"

Yeah.

You can he was being sincere most of the time. Problem is that most of his answers show that he is 100% out of touch about how to run the company and respond to criticisms, in regards to practically all of the topics they talked about.

Yeah, I may look into this once it gets easier for English sign ups. I know there's a step by step instruction.. but... Still. Hoping that happens.

To see NJPW World,do you go to a site and pay to stream?

He's also Captain America/Superman and not Batman/Wolverine, which is how Vince still sees things as regards the "leading man" mentality. Cena has worked hard for sure and his ring work and charisma is due it's credit, but he has also had the benefit of an unstoppable push that ignored fans reactions for a long time because Vince wasn't going to be told "No" now that he'd defeated WCW and no longer needed to care what the fans wanted.

That fact that he sat opposite Austin and said "The WWE title doesn't matter" when he KNOWS how Austin feels and how Austin literally broke his neck to become the top guy and believes that status that is represented by the title, shows just how out of touch Vince is with humanity, not just pop culture.

I feel like Vince's daddy is rolling in his grave right now. Even Haitch was watching it and got just as pissed as Austin did. Saying that is unforgivable, even if it is your company. That's a slap to the face to the entire industry to say that your flagship title "doesn't matter."

When Vince said that the audience are who breaks or make a star and that if they don't like a guy or "gal"they won't succeed or whatever,He must have known that's BS and that people would know because it's pretty obvious he pushes his favorites despite disapproval from fans each week
