I'm guess it's on purpose that HHH was made to look like an older Bobby Hill.

I think that Punk is just as at fault here as the WWE is but I refuse to give the WWE a pass when it comes to his staph infection. Their main priority at all times needs to be the health of their employees especially with the business they are in.
its disgusting and I hope the media shines a larger spotlight on this

Former WWE Superstar Rene Dupree talked to Slam Sports recently, following last week’s controversial CM Punk interview on “The Art of Wrestling” podcast with Colt Cabana.

Part of Punk’s tell-all discussion revealed that WWE doctors continually forced him into action and refused medical treatment on a lump that was eventually revealed as a life-threatening staph infection. Renee Dupree, a two-time WWE tag champion, revealed a similar situation that happened to him during his run with the company.

According to the interview with Slam, Dupree had a hematoma in his temple and was given the night off from Smackdown by Stephanie McMahon. When the cabin pressure normalized on a flight to Cincinnati, the hematoma burst. “I was wearing a white Gold’s Gym t-shirt and it was covered in blood.” Paramedics on scene told the crew that he needed to be rushed to the hospital, but a WWE doctor made the call to keep him on the roster’s connecting flight to Louisville.

According to Rene, he did receive treatment in Louisville, but “I risked my life to save the company a few extra bucks.” The company would have had to pay for a separate flight for him after surgery, but that’s essentially the only real expense.

This is not the first affirmation of CM Punk‘s claim that WWE officials are there to support the company, and not necessarily the talent. In Hardcore Holly’s 2013 autobiography, “The Hardcore Truth”, he revealed his own staph infection that almost cost him his arm. It was diagnosed in the U.S., but backstage staff - including John Laurinaitis – insisted that he attend the European tour, where the infection worsened and Holly almost required an amputation.

BATISTA: "You don't have any plans for me? Okay, I'm going to go do James Bond. Then after that, I have Guardians of Galaxy 2, and I think Avengers Infinity War Part 2."

VINCE: "When can we expect you back?"

BATISTA: "Back?"

But honestly...Big Dave is never coming back!

I remember the Raw episode where Batista left, and Renee interviewed him backstage as he was heading to his car. While explaining why he "quit", he mentioned broken promises, and his explanations seemed like they had an element of truth to them.

The end segment on tonight's NXT is excellent, Sami Zayn's promos are just crazy good.

Listened to Punk part 2. When you look at everything, it seems more and more surprising that Punk was able to achieve any success at all.

Punk telling the stories of all the money WWE took out of his pocket makes you want to punch a hole in the wall. He tried to play by the rules and be a "company guy" and yet that's how he was rewarded in return.

Hes probably the best all around talent in WWE period. Great wrestling, Commanding presence/likeability , and promos that tug at the heart strings.

Can't wait for next Thursday, so many things to look forward to. Including:

We noted last month when Ryback made his return to WWE TV that both Triple H and Vince McMahon were pleased with the return and the fan reaction. It’s unknown if this is referring to Triple H or Vince specifically but it’s said that Ryback’s stock within WWE is already on the decline.

WWE’s original plan was for Ryback to dominate at Survivor Series and lead Team Cena to victory. Dolph Ziggler ended up getting that spot after Ryback had some heat on him for “stinkers” in the ring leading up to Survivor Series.

We’re not sure which matches were labeled “stinkers” but it was reported that Ryback’s recent RAW match with Cesaro soured officials enough that they may have changed their mind on putting Ryback in the ring with Triple H.

I doubt it was coincidental. Punk even says that he told HHH about his wedding two days before it happened (and AJ had already put in for time off) - the termination papers were dated the next day. Highly suspect.

Yeah , I just heard the second podcast appearance. There were definately haters in " the office" . The company is being run by a bunch of asshats.

It's a shame his last run was a disaster. Good for Batista though.

Part 2 of Punk's podcast was a lot more about him and Cabana messing around than anything. Glad he called Vince's apology exactly what it was, basically you apologize face to face, not on TV, and don't tarnish it by making bogus excuses, just admit you did something spiteful and own it.

I thought the 2 most interesting bits of new info were the talk he had with The Rock and the bizarre situation with Roman Reigns, "Here's an idea, if you want him to look strong why don't I just put him over?" vs WWE's weird logic.

I admit I have a bias towards Punk, if it wasn't for him I'd have probably stopped watching WWE when HBK retired, and he's my second favourite wrestler of all time.

However I fail to see how he's at fault in this situation. At the end of 3 years working his ass off he'd had his momentum purposely stunted twice, he was screwed out of money on more than one occasion, given false promises and flat out lies while dealing with endless double standards, was fed to all the part timers with nothing in return, and was put in the ring with an unsafe guy on 2 separate occasions on the basis of more false promises.

By the end his ribs were broken from the aforementioned feud, his elbow and knee were both damaged and he had a staph infection on his back that they refused to treat and it could have killed him, how exactly was he supposed to react when it all came to a head? Then on top of that they fired him on his wedding day, the thing that seems to have angered him more than anything oddly enough.

Well Punk is no saint, that's for sure and he can be somewhat of an ass when put in a cranky mood at times, BUT... I don't blame him at all for feeling the way that he does towards the WWE.

Honestly, it's a miracle that the company hasn't been targeted by one large lawsuit for its abuse and mistreatment of its workers.

I'm actually waiting to see on what the company is going to do when that fateful day comes where John Cena can no longer perform at the level they need him to be at because they don't seem to care one bit about trying to make new stars.

I really wish WWE would start using pre-taped or live on location segments to progress their feuds...Atleast the so called "blood feuds" where they supposedly hate each other and can't wait to tear each other apart. It would go a long way in selling the intensity of those types of feuds to the audience because if they hate each other as much as they claim to in their promos then waiting until Monday and Friday to get their hands on each other wouldn't be good enough IMO.

It would be REALLY beneficial in selling feuds of guys like Ambrose, Orton, Wyatt etc because they are suppose to be the "dark" characters in WWE that become relentless when provoked or in Wyatt's case when he's trying to provoke.

These would also be more convincing in selling the horror aspects of his character.

And these segments would also give guys like Bryan, Sami Zayn, John Cena and Ziggler a chance to show more of an edge when the feud calls for it.

^Agreed. WWE needs to shake their presentation up.

Could you imagine something like Ambrose going down into Bray's hideout in the woods with nothing but a crowbar or wooden bat in hand and when he got down there he called him out and he hears a loud demonic voice say "RUN!" and it lead to a brawl in that barn

Or

Ambrose coming home and he hears an elder lady voice singing and he went into his backyard only to end up being Ambushed by Bray Wyatt and see a flash of Sister Abigail's spirit right before the ambush?

Yeah that could be cool.

Yeah that could be cool.

Honestly if Vince gave you, me, a nd Hunter a full year of Carte Blance on booking Raw and the PPVs with free Pizza and the help of Paul Heyman, we'd easily turn the tide on the quality of the shows easily.

Screw paying 26 writers. Lol

Hey, I'd be up for that.

Man after watching that last NXT, I say Sami Zayn has it in him to become THE GUY in WWE if given the chance to be all he can be.

- He can do happy to lucky as well as he serious and show grit

- Not only is an exceptional seller but great in ring storyteller with versatility

- Super crisp and agile in the ring

- Can be marketed as a believable underdog and appeal to the working man, smarks and children

- His promos are delivered with more realism than often seen in WWE guys of the current era.

He's a mixture of what's best about guys like Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins with the promo abilities to outclass Cena.

If Vince and Dunn weren't trying so hard to control the out come of who gets to be on top etc and just let them grab those brass rings then I could easily see Bryan, Ambrose, Rollins, Reigns, Zayn, Reigns, Punk(he wouldn't have left CM if the environment was like this), Wyatt , and Dolph Ziggler would be the main contenders for the spots of the Elite in WWE and guess what...WWE would have more sources of income because of it.

If Zayn continues to grow then he'll be able to say he's a million leagues above everyone in WWE in EVERY way.

Hey, I'd be up for that.

Who said pizza? :hubba

Seriously, though. I would love the chance to write Raw from now till Mania.

Royal Rumble

WWEWHC Cena vs. Lesnar no DQ:
Both beat the holy hell out of each other. There must be blood at least from one of them.

Rollins cash-in, smacks Brock up the side of the head with a chair, curb stomps Cena for the pin and shocker.

Rumble Match surprise returns Daniel Bryan, Bad News Barrett (in ring); Sami Zayn debuts in the Rumble;

If he's up for it, Bryan should win it. But I'd rather see it come down to Bryan, Ambrose, Reigns, Zayn and Cesaro for ****s sake, CESARO!!!:cmad: with Ambrose and Reigns going over by eliminating each other, and both their feet touch the ground at the same time. Believable and easy to both conclude the "Fall of the Shield" and "Ambrose's Revenge" storylines. And it sets up Reigns as next in line for the top, but this year should be Rollins and Ambrose's come Mania.

Nonetheless, we have a Triple Threat for the title at Mania between the former Shield. But Lesnar invokes his rematch, makes it a Fatal 4-Way.

I like the idea of Sting/HHH at Rumble, but I'm just not sure about Taker's health for Mania. I'd still book it though.

Let Bray have Cena again, and let Bray go over. Love the character, but he might not ever be in the Mania main event.

Build Cesaro back the **** up. Rumble sets up he and Sami Zayn for Mania beautifully. It's a feud they know, and it can be used to build upon Cesaro's "it" factor that I know he has.

I loved his gimmick 3 years ago when Aksana was his valet. I love the whole speaking in five languages deal, the whole concept was great. I'd love to revisit that, but with the intensity I saw in his snippet from the WWae2k15 add where he's just riding in the back of a luxury car. THAT'S the gimmick Cesaro needs, the sophisticated Euro badass. If English is giving him trouble on a certain line or he wants to make a point, ****ing have him say it in the other four languages and finish it in English. Cesaro could be over in a heartbeat.

There's more...maybe later...after breakfast...:hehe:

You're welcome.
