No... Pfeiffer is her favorite actress, someone she would like to model her career around and she LOVES her Catwoman.

It's hardly ignorance. It's merely a light-hearted opinion during a PR session that's she is more than entitled to have. Perhaps she doesn't care for the 1960's interpretations and disliked both Berry and Hathaway.

Not having this argument with you you're just going to defend her until you get blue in the face. It's happened before. I just don't think Pfeiffer was Selina Kyle at all. A good catwoman, yes. But of course they're going to "redo" the character. Burton's world wasn't very accurate or definitive. We have reboots and Catwoman is a staple that needs to be "redone" just like Batman or Joker. I bet she would play nicey nice if she had to work with a new Iron Man actor. I doubt she would say "Downey is the only Iron Man!".

Anyway, i like Elizabeth Olson in most of her roles but she also annoys me off camera.

C'mon, dude. As a die-hard fan of TDKT, you of all people should know that something can be effective and compelling without being completely "accurate or definitive" to the source material.

Pfeiffer WAS a great Selina Kyle...for THAT version of Selina Kyle that was created specifically for THAT version of Batman and his "world".

She's entitled to her opinion, but I think she's so so wrong. Michelle Pfeiffer is not even close to being the definitive Catwoman. Best performance as Catwoman definitely.

Another reason not to take shauner111 seriously... he thinks the subjective opinion of an actress about a fictional character constitutes ignorance.

Absolutely Shape, but you dont see me saying Bale is the ONLY Batman. They keep trying to redo Batman but Bale is the ONLY ONE. Boo-hoo. Bale will not be the only one that deserves to be Batman, and Keaton or Bale won't go down as the best when it's all said and done. Even if i love Bale the most.

But for Elizabeth Olsen, she is the definitive Catwoman. Just like for millions of fans, Christopher Reeve is still the definitive Superman. People get affectionately attached to certain portrayals of a character. Its their subjective opinion, hardly ignorance.

I didn't say that you said it was ignorance. I thought it was clear that the only part of my post that had anything to do with you was a response to the "definitive Catwoman" bit, and even that was more clarification than disagreement.

And this forum is like a fairytale land where everyone has to respect the others opinion even if they think it's whacky. I just dont agree with her, i dont care for her interviews or most of the marvel actors and the way they go out of their way to throw jabs at recent DC stuff. See, that's an opinion. I didn't need it clarified. My post makes it very clear I understood what she was saying was her opinion, which she's entitled to. So coming along and telling me it's her subjective opinion and not ignorance was totally pointless.

To expand on that. Everyone is so brainwashed on this forum that they're afraid to make a move. Nobody wants to say this opinion sounds dumb as f**k, because we're not allowed. It's the most unrealistic forum i've ever been to. It's like daycare.

I posted a photo with "ohhh the ignorance..." and everyone loses their minds! Or at least Phantasm and Pfeiffer. Joker disagrees with me but says she wasn't definitive, and here comes the polite police (Phantasm) giving him s**t because everything on this forum is supposed to be nice and subjective. Ummm, no. We can disagree with someones opinion, and we should be able to say it's ignorant or dumb or inaccurate. Then people should be able to discuss that and poke fun at each other instead of 1 person going "wow you're just desperate and pathetic", trying to make into a huge thing. Calling people hypocrites. Where's the fun in the forum? There is none. It's a giant gang up session at all times. Not just this section.

But hey, i dont run this forum and im sure ill be told soon that i dont run it and i should shut my mouth if i want to stay here in Adolf's lounge. Im sure my posts will be deleted too while Phantasm gets away with it.

I'm expecting Shannon to be lifeless and stiff in this role.

He quite clearly has no interest in this role. Even from what we see of him in the trailer, it's evident he's phoning it in.
