the sarcasm face indicates you mean the opposite... come here my little bear cub
How do you know the level of body hair Sawyer is working with?
He asks me to shave it off twice a year and mail it to him.
It's absolutely true. He has it mailed to me... and delivers it personally in a skanky mailman outfit

Well I guess T.J. Miller wont be doing the promotional round.
It was questionable at first, but now, yeah, I'm guessing that's not happening.
If they're doing reshoots, is it too late to cgi the guy out?
Where's Christopher Plummer? How is his butt-face jokes repertoire? Lol.
Christopher Plummer should replace T.J. Miller.

He's too old to be TJ's replacement. IMO, just cut him from the film instead of cging his face.
Classic stuff, psy.
I noticed a panda bear in one scene with Domino. I wonder if that was a jab at the fans who complained about her look, haha.
DINO is DINO and no amount of pandas will change that.
Zazie Beetz has changed that. Deal with it.
Beetz looks GREAT as Domino, and aside from her race and inherent color switch she's pretty faithful to the comic book counterpart (yup, she's had suits like the one in the movie in the comics!), so....
I stand by my opinion that iconography needs to be respected. Just because she's a lesser known character doesn't mean I have to embrace their experiments.Perhaps for you.
It's not like they ignored her iconography either.
Don't. One less ticket sold. I'm sure they won't mind.![]()
They ignored her iconography. No need for mental gymnastics. Her look is chalk-white skin with a black spot on the eye. No afro. End of story.
Nah, they actually didn't. They inverted the colors of her iconography, while still keeping its elements (such as the spot on the eye). If you can't accept that it's okay, but that still doesn't mean that they IGNORED her iconography.
They inverted the colors and added design elements that never belonged to Domino in her usual depiction. Thus ignored her iconography. The fact that they played with the nature of dominoes doesn't change the fact that she looks NOTHING like Domino. If you like the actress, it's OK, but no need to spin it like this is respectful of her iconography.
You spin me right round, baby, right round...
Another fact is that they did keep elements from her iconography.
Yet still made her unrecognizable.
Iconography, lol. Ask Joe Public and they won't know who Domino is.
They will after the movie.
I 100% do not care about the changes to Domino's look. This sort of reminds me of the whole Joker is not perma-white in TDK debate. Ultimately, it is trivial.
What does this have to do with anything? In Joker's case it was trivial. Because he still looked 100% like Joker.
The Grandmaster in Thor: Ragnarok doesn't have his "iconic" blue skin from the comics. Do I care? No.
You said the look was part of her ''iconography''...i.e. that the look is ''iconic''. That's a huge stretch.
To say that she is ''unrecognizable'' from her comic book counterpart is false.

I think you don't understand the meaning of the word.
I understand the word and the meaning just fine, thanks.
Apparently you don't. Because iconography has nothing to do with how recognizable something by GA or not.
Experiments? It is adding some needed diversity to these franchises, and it "changes" a character who never had a natural skin palate to begin with anyway.
The point is this is a minor character, and all of five people probably care about her "iconography." Just as the Nick Fury change was welcomed, this too is a good thing and might change the way people imagine the character, as well as how she is depicted in the future.
Iconography: ''The visual images, symbols, or modes of representation collectively associated with a person, cult, or movement. The iconography of pop culture''.
Pop Culture: ''Modern popular culture transmitted via the mass media and aimed particularly at younger people. Fashion, music, and the iconography of pop culture offered the perfect medium for profit''.
Correct on this point. But, the definitions are:
i·co·nog·ra·phy
noun
1.
the visual images and symbols used in a work of art or the study or interpretation of these.
2.
a collection of illustrations or portraits.
In this case, we are basically dealing with definition 1, the images and symbols used to make the work. The thing is, she still has the mark on the eye and assassin gear (even the cleavage was kept). Yes, they inverted the color scheme, but the overall look was still preserved (outside the hair).
She does look a little underwhelming if you put those pictures side by side![]()
They got the breasts right....that's what most fanboys care about.
Yeah, because it was.
What was underwhelming?
