When you go on a thread of a highly anticipated comic book movie, and pretend to be someone with information, and begin throwing out what is very much spoilerish information, you know that you are going to get a reaction....some is negative (ticked off people) and some that is positive...the intention was to set off a firestorm, that is trolling. So CNET is suggesting that perhaps Superman goes to the dark side since his light saber is red and he's got that Anakin thing going on. Anyone think that has any merit?

There seems to be three main theories about the picture. The first is that Star Wars and BvS will be coming out during the same year. The second is that people thinking Dark Side, is really a clue to Darkseid coming and the third is that its just a fun pic, showing one of the robes Cavill uses to hide his Superman outfit from prying press.

The LGBT victim gimmick doesn't work on the Hype because there's a ton of actual LGBT people here not being persecuted already. Ain't nobody got time for dat.

There are actually several LGBT-phobic comments on this board already that tons of people have brought to light in the G8 thread. This is the first time I've witnessed it though unless I read more into that reply than what was meant. I'd report it or bring light to it, but I'm not that kind of guy.

Also, and this is a HUGE question E. If you don't answer it, we will all know your answer. But when you said "you people" - were saying "you posters" or were you saying "you LGBT people"? You didn't say "you" - you specifically said "you people." If it is the second? It would be the exact same as saying "you blacks" which I'm pretty sure everyone knows that's racist by now.

E - "you people" - if you have a problem with me period, why not just say "you"? There is a big difference between saying "you" and "you people." If it was "you," I wouldn't have even brought it up.

I'm pretty sure, although as said I won't report it, if somebody said "you people" in concerns to a different race or sexuality (if it was said in that way) that would be an offense.

And that is why - if you read what I typed - I left it open to the poster answering that.
