I predict a good possibility that X-men Apocalypse will be the highest rated comic book movie of the year (in critical reviews) just like Days of Future Past was, but may or may not make as much in box office as some of the other films. I think it will shock a lot of people since many think this film will be the weakest of the comic book line-up. Singer and Kinberg said this is the most emotional x-men film in the franchise, not to mention a clear strong antagonist with a clear end goal. This may be the strongest antagonist the x-men franchise has had yet. As long as the story stays interesting with good twists and turns, clear motivations, and a strong buildup to the climax then it should claim its place as king in the story department. There's always something at stake in a good script and conflict is the heart of drama. The ultimate goal must be powerful and grow more desperate as the story unfolds. Without that you don't really have a story. So, we'll see....
