Apocalypse X-Men: Apocalypse coming in 2016!

Simon Kinberg on X-Men: Apocalypse

"We want to tell the Apocalypse story and there's massive scale and scope to telling that story. There's going to be set pieces that I suspect are going to be bigger than anything we've ever done in an X-Men movie before and he's a great character. The biggest and funnest challenge of the Apocalypse movie to me is his character. How do you create a new villain for the X-Men world that is as good as any villain that's come before, is compelling philosophically as Magneto, not just in his physical powers, but in his philosophical depth. 'Apocalypse' is going to be a fun movie to write and make."

I got my ideas on who I want as a Apocalypse, so who are you guys wanting?

He's Egyptian, so on my list anyways, I eliminated anyone who was white.

Hey, im new in the forum! Im daniel and im portuguese :)

About Apocalipse, my opinion is that:

I think that dont have ANY sense, be the x.men of the FC fighting apocalipse! First, because i love OT cast :), second, because the x-men timeline is SUPOSE have sense, then, being the Apocalipse the most important and central Villan of the X-Men universe, he should be a kind of ULTIMATE BOSS, a last battle! And that last battle should be the OT x-men to fight, because they saw, live and fight to much to finally fight de Apocalipse in the final!

Try see the things by this way: yes, First class x-men fight apocalipse and winne, fine, but some decades after they fight enemys like Toad and Sabretooth, human soldiers, Callisto, our the army of mutants of Magneto? A team that supossdly fought and winne Apocalipse, one of the most powerful mutants of the world and the encarnationof evil should not easily defeat this kind of enemys?

And the sense of the story timeline?
Normally, in life to, we win small battles to prepare to great battles and final battles in case of cinema! We dont fight a small battle, later a HUGE one, and then a verrryyyy smaller one, to after fight a medium battle, and the a small, a large, a small... etc etc... you get the point?

Apocalipse will be perfect to a GREAT GOODBYE to our OT cast, with thousands of action, emotion, questions and answers... it is a waste of energy ans potencial put the FC cast against the apocalipse!! :(:(:(

Try some fan petition!:)

(AND PERSONALLY and off topic, FC is a good movie yes, BUT ITS NOT X-MEN! Is a disaster for the people how love x-men... x1 is good, X2 is great, X3 is controversial but FC is 0,000001. And i'm favor of the cinema adaptations! :)

Sorry the big text but i have to say that :)
Hope chat with you soon

My top choices to play Apocalypse:

1. Dwayne Johnson
2. Javier Bardem
3. Jason Momoa
4. Kevin Grevioux
5. Christopher Judge
6. Dennis Haysbert

Out of these I like these two the best for the role. Jason Momoa is fine for the role, but I feel he is fan type cast in these sort of roles.

found this on screenrant:

Jason Momoa or Terry Crews should be Apocalypse. I can't imagine anyone who isn't absolutely jacked in the role since Apoclaypse has always had a a very impressive physique and he needs to be physically imposing.

I'm still confused about Apocalypse.... since there are no X-Men anymore in 1973.

What will be the roster?

X-Men: Apocalypse will be set in the 1980s when Cyclops, Jean, and Storm can be re-introduced. Beast is returning, Wolverine will be knocking about, and Singer has expressed interest in Nightcrawler and Gambit.

In short, there's the potential for this movie to feature the best roster we've ever seen in the films (imo).

With so much stuff out its easy for info to fly right past u- so I keep hearing people say it's highly likely that Storm, Cyc, and Jean will be part of the cast, what has officially been said about that?

The only official word I heard was that most of the first class cast would be featured. I am assuming that the talk about Storm, Jean, and Cyc is from fans clamoring to see it. Or am I wrong and do we have confirmation?

Bryan Singer mentioned himself that we'd be exploring the early years of popular X-Men team members in Apocalypse. When pressed more, he basically confirmed that they were going to add Cyclops, Jean and Storm and that he was also toying with the idea of adding Young Nightcrawler and Gambit.

Confirmed-Xavier,Magneto,Beast,Mystique,Apocalypse

Basicly confirmed-Wolverine,Cyclops,Jean,Storm

Likely-Gambit

Possibly-Quicksilver,Nightcrawler

With the seemingly very positive response of Quicksilver's character and power displays in DOFP I think there is a good chance for his return.

Tbh I'd rather wolverine not return.this needs to be cyclops' movie the way DoFP is Xavier's and first class is magnetos.

I think Momoa could have been an awesome Warpath

I quite like the idea of a Lawrence fishburne or maybe chivetel eijifor.

Sorry for appalling spellings.

How is Wolverine basically confirmed in this movie? Did I miss anything.

Can't buy Eijifor as a villain. Could work though. You need a guy with a booming bass voice. So I'd look for an African American actor as well, but not sure where to go. Also like Bardem.

Ejiofor is rumored to be the villain in the next James Bond film and he's played a villain before.

Go watch Joss whedons Serenity, Eijifor plays a great villain.

He is very current, prominent actor.....

I'm not keen on the idea of Javere..... I'm thinking maybe a cgi character. Andy serkis was at the London premier and seems keen to be involved..... He is king of cgi characters.

James McAvoy on X-Men: Apocalypse's setting, says Professor Xavier may still be healing

"I think he's really on the road, if not fully now, to becoming the Charles that we expect to see eventually. I was played by Patrick in the previous movies, you know, and whether they go fully there or not for Apocalypse, I don't know," he said. "I spoke to them, and I don't think they actually know yet either. It will be interesting to see how far down the road towards being fully healed he is. I'm pretty sure he'll be pretty healed, certainly more so than in Days of Future Past, because he's just a total, injured, dying animal at the beginning of the movie."

If he walked in 1981 and 1987, and used his power, then Hank had to create a better serum for him.
